5 out of 5 starsSince it is to be given as a gift to my son, paellero, I will not open it right away so I cannot sample its fragrance. The packaging is excellent and handsome as well. The color is uniformly a deep dark red-orange. Not familiar with Afghani saffron I am excited to try it. I will let you know if I have a chance to taste it!
