About TimeLab-Design
TimeLab-Design began with a simple idea: take an iconic digital watch and see how far thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and a little experimentation could transform it.
I’m a Seattle-based industrial designer with more than 20 years of experience developing products. I started modifying Casio watches as a personal design project, experimenting with custom faceplates, color, materials, lighting, and display effects. What began at my workbench quickly grew into TimeLab-Design.
Each watch is individually built and assembled with an emphasis on the small details that make it feel distinctive. I design and produce custom faceplate artwork, experiment with optical films and lighting, and carefully coordinate colors and finishes to create watches that feel familiar but completely different from something off the shelf.
Some designs are offered as finished collections, while others can be customized for the person who will wear them.
TimeLab-Design is still a young business, and that is part of the fun. Every new build is an opportunity to experiment, refine the process, and create something unexpected.
Time, Built for You.
