Hello! I’m Lorita, the founder and designer behind Shop Ting and Things.
It has always been my dream to create my own line of products and share them with like-minded people. After graduating, I jumped straight into a full-time job, and that dream started to feel out of reach. Everything changed when my son was born—I began designing and creating for his milestones, birthdays, outfits, and Halloween costumes. That creative spark reminded me how much I needed an outlet, especially while juggling work life and motherhood, which can sometimes feel repetitive.
My small shop keeps me motivated and inspired. It feels amazing to be passionate about something, and every item you see here is designed and crafted by me with love.
Why the name?
The shop name comes from my blog, Every Little Thing, which I started in 2007 as a creative space to share ideas and stories. “Ting” is my Chinese name, and it means “pretty.” When you combine Every Little Thing with Ting, you get Ting and Things! Many of my designs are influenced by my Asian heritage, and I hope they bring joy and add a little extra fun to your everyday life—just as they do for me.
