5 out of 5 starsThe bag is in pretty great condition. It arrived well packaged and on time with great communication from the seller. There is some green patina on the brass hardware that I did not see in the photos and wished were cleaned before purchase but the hardware seems solid otherwise. This bag is very beautiful and the leather is so much thicker than newer bags. I can’t wait to start using it!

Hi Lucy, thank you for your wonderful 5-Star Review! About the green patina, the same thing was happening to me on this vintage brass! I would clean it, scrub it with brasso...the green would be gone, then a couple of days later I noticed it was back! So I cleaned it off again. The only thing I can think of is coastal, salty air will certainly affect certain metals, or the brasso having a continuous chemical reaction causing the green patina to surface. I assure you the brass was gone over a few times! Everyone should see my messages about needing to stay off the leather when cleaning brass, this is a delicate balance between getting it clean and preserving the leather. But, in this case, I think it is a continuing chemical reaction that is taking place.So glad you love your bag, it's in fabulous shape!
