I have been buying and selling vintage since 2005. I LOVE anything 1920's-1970's and have a passion for incorporating vintage fashion from every era into modern style!
Shop policies
Jenny Stabile has taken The Honest Vintage Pledge: Everything that I have tagged as vintage in my shop is at least twenty years old or older. I stake my reputation on it. I will never knowingly sell a fake or a repro knockoff to my customers. EVER.
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
*We are not responsible for damage or wear that occurs after item is received or worn by buyer*
In the event a return/exchange is accepted:
*A- I must be notified of the issue within 48 hours of you receiving the item.
*B- If return is accepted, I will refund the amount of your purchase minus shipping charges.
*C- Buyer pays return shipping.
I do not accept returns for:
*Buyer's remorse
*Color differences (all monitors show color differently and I describe the color to the best of my ability)
*Damage that occurred after the item was worn by buyer.
*Based on sizing. I take great care to measure items accurately and ask that you inquire before making a purchase if you have questions or concerns about sizing or anything else.
*Minor flaws-Any flaws are described to the best of my knowledge and all items are sold as-is.
Vintage clothing has been previously loved and worn (unless noted as dead-stock) and minor issues are normal for vintage and should be expected. Please inquire prior to adding items to your cart if you have questions.
Payment
Reserves:
*I can reserve an item for up to 3 days. If the item has not been paid for within that 3 day period I will remove the reserve unless other special arrangements have been agreed upon.
*Sorry, no reserves on sale items and no reserves will be made during a sale/promotion.
Layaway:
Layaway is available for purchases of $100 or more. A non-refundable down payment of 50% of the TOTAL purchase is due immediately with the balance being due within 30 days of down payment. Layaway is not available for sale items/during a sale and all layaway payments are non-refundable.
Shipping
*I ship to the address you have provided on Etsy (this is the one that shows on your purchase receipt) If there is another address you prefer that I ship to please let me know in the "note to seller" section during the check-out process, which address you would like me to ship to. This will eliminate any misunderstandings or your item being delivered to the wrong address.
*I ship via USPS and I ship daily except Sat. & Sun. upon receipt of payment.
Insurance/Delivery confirmation:
*Insurance and delivery confirmation is included in the US shipping cost.
*Insurance is not available for First Class international orders.
Lost/Stolen Unclaimed packages:
*Jenny Stabile DBA Carousel is not responsible for lost/stolen or unclaimed packages. Buyer is responsible for tracking/claiming their merchandise. In the event that merchandise is "returned to sender", buyer is responsible for paying additional shipping costs if they wish to receive the item. There are no returns/refunds/exchanges for lost/stolen/unclaimed packages.
International buyers:
Please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery. Please note that I always put the actual value of the item(s) on the customs form and you are responsible for all VAT (value added tax) import fees, taxes or duty imposed by your country. If you need help figuring import taxes for your country, here is a link to a "Duty Calculator" that you may find helpful: http://www.dutycalculator.com/
It is my personal recommendation that you build VAT, import fees or duty into your budget when making your final decision to purchase.
