Trying my part to help our beautiful planet.

Welcome to my shop!

I'm a stay-at-home mom, with one daughter in school. I needed something to fill my time, and was feeling like I needed to do something for our planet. I've always enjoyed sewing and thrift shopping. So I decided to combine the two.

I was introduced to cloth diapers and wipes when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had never really thought about it before. How much waste is involved in manufacturing, and then purchasing, and finally discarded products. I didn't get to cloth diaper, but it was always on my mind.
I introduced my family to cloth wipes a few years ago, it's very easy to use. I have 2 containers on the back of the toilet. One for clean, one for dirty. You simply put the dirty in the bin, if it needs a rinse, you hang it to dry over the side of the bin. I collect them daily from the various bathrooms in the house and wash with the rest of our towels.
They make great nose or face wipes for littles on the go as well. I like to take a bunch in a small snack bag when we are out.
I still have a lot to learn in the ways of zero waste, but it's something I'm interested in. If you follow me on my Facebook page I often share articles about zerowaste and new products being made to better our world.

All the materials I use are from upcycled materials. I do a good wash and dry before anything is re-made. When I'm out looking for materials to upcycle, I make sure to check the contents and the wear of the material. There is a lot of thought that goes into selecting the right materials.

If you'd like to know anything else about me, or my business follow me on Facebook or Instagram. I regularly post pictures of what I'm working on. And I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Thank you for stopping by to read about me. I look forward to working with you!
