This is the perfect handbag to wear with jeans!
This Huipil is a great find!! A vintage Huipil from Quetzaltenango
A wonder crossover with beautiful combination of colors

Life is full of bright colors! A huipil is a handmade blouse worn by ethnic Mayan women. Each huipil has a story behind and handmade huipil are unique

It all started with a huipil and then another one until it became a collection that was the result of numerous trips to different towns to beautiful and remote places . Then I started designing my own handbags with huipils that I had collected over the years , and friends asking me for an unique personalized bag , I made for them several pieces and then a friend suggested I should sell them on Etsy. I ❤️ Etsy! We strive for using the most intricate huipiles with special details!
Each huipil is unique, not two will be alike and is a dying art , younger generations are not interested in weaving . Huipiles are handmade with lots of love and it’s a real tribute to patience ! Stories passed on from mothers to daughters, It takes up to six months to finish one.
We use vintage huipiles and we believe in fair trade and in keeping traditions . It’s all about color and style!!!
