Back in late 2015, I started my journey to become a Virtual Assistant.
I wanted to manage my health and all the appointments that came with it. I wanted to enjoy my life without constantly feeling exhausted. And I didn't want to spend Monday to Friday waiting for the weekend to do the things I actually loved.
Within three months, I was earning enough to leave my 9–5.
Best. Decision. Ever.
But at the beginning, I did something that still makes me shudder slightly...
Face-to-face networking.
It felt scary. The thought of small talk made me cringe. And I didn't even really know how to articulate what I did yet. Back then, plenty of people still thought a VA was a computer rather than an actual human being.
Then I stumbled across a brilliant T-shirt with ‘Virtual Assistant in the flesh’ on the front.
OMG. It made things SO much easier.
People knew what I did before I'd even opened my mouth.
It started conversations.
It basically gave me my 60-second pitch without me having to awkwardly shoehorn ‘I'm a Virtual Assistant’ into the conversation.
It stopped me worrying I was sounding salesy when introducing myself.
And all these years later, I still think it's bloody brilliant.
So, with permission from the lovely person behind the original slogan, I've brought ‘Virtual Assistant in the flesh’ back, with my own designs, for a new generation of VAs who'd quite like their T-shirt to do some of the networking for them.

Networking is a great way to get clients as a Virtual Assistant, but it's awkward, right? Not any more. Wear one of these t-shirts to show your personality, get the conversation started and be memorable. Go on, purch the merch.

よくある質問
£35 for a t-shirt?
Yes, £35. Just one hour of your Virtual Assistant time and this t-shirt will get you more attention whether you use it in photos, networking or on discovery calls.
Do you offer discounts
I've turned off the discounts thing that some sellers send if you leave an item in your basket long enough. Once the items in the shop have gone, they're gone.
