Peace, Love, and Affirmations!
I've been told that my best quality is also my worst - I only see good in others! So when a friend was going through a difficult time trying to find a new job, I met her for coffee and immediately reminded her of all her great qualities - she is at the top of her field, she is wicked smart, she well respected, she invested in the growth of her employees ... the list kept growing. She acknowledged the accomplishments but not the personal qualities that made her great and unique. I knew she needed a way to remind herself of her greatness. So my first affirmation tin was for her - hand written and illustrated "I AM" cards in a decorated tin. I asked her to read the cards out loud every day. My philosophy is that you need to feed your mind good thoughts just like you feed your body good food.
I loved how the box turned out and decided to decorate a few more. I hand wrote more affirmations for friends and family and gave them as gifts. My dear friend Debbie encouraged me to open a shop on etsy. So I wrote an affirmation "I am a successful etsy shop owner", built up my stock, and here I am!
Oh and my friend who was looking for a new job? She is doing very well at her new company :)
