I like to draw things that make me happy, and I love to share these happy illustrations and paintings with others! Art is an amazing element in life, and my goal is to bring joy to your environment through my creations.

Currently, I live in Roseville, California (near Sacramento) with my husband, Damon and our two dogs, Daizey and Cody. I grew up in the Bay Area of California, and have also lived in Washington near Seattle, and in New Orleans, Louisiana. Each of these places have colorful cultures and landscapes, and I believe that my experiences while living there help to influence my art.

INSPIRATION: When I was little, the illustrations in children's books and the comic strips in the Sunday newspaper were my favorite things to study. I would practice drawing the way those artists did, and when I couldn't do something the way they did, I would come up with my own versions. I love color, lots of detail, and contrast.

ABOUT MY CREATIONS: I like to make nearly every element I use for the things you see in my shop. I spend a lot of time designing the packaging for my creations, sourcing materials, and begging friends and neighbors to “test” new products for me.
When you order one of my vegetable garden signs, for example, you can order it knowing that people from California and Washington to Louisiana and New Jersey have had a few stuck in their yards for the duration to experience their weather, soil, and care-taking habits, with great results.

I love to get feedback and suggestions for improving products or types of designs, because I think that the perspective I bring to home décor is something that can bring joy and happiness to people.
