2 out of 5 starsNo printer ink, my fault , but the page is weirdly alway just 1/2 way out of sight

I'm so sorry this has been a tricky experience! I hope you'll have a chance to try again after looking over the suggestions and screenshot I sent. After checking the file and asking a few other people to try it out, the page being half out of sight seems most likely caused by Acrobat Reader opening the file at a higher zoom level. We can see what we're typing more easily but see less of the page at once. To get a bird's eye view, you can change the zoom level at the top. It may be set to 125% or 100%. To see more of the page, you would make that number smaller - try 75% or 50%. If this doesn't solve the issue, you're welcome to share further details through our Etsy Messages conversation at any time. Take care, and I hope you'll soon have beautiful new address labels!

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer custom and/or personalised items?
I don't offer custom or personalised orders, no. However, I'm so grateful for your interest, and hope you find something you love elsewhere!
May I share or resell the items I buy?
The items I sell are for personal use only and not to be shared.
The only exceptions would be things like, say, a chore chart printable that's used by others within your household.
Exceptions would *not* include things like sharing the printables you buy with other members of a writing group.
Are any physical items shipped to me?
Nothing physical will be sent to you. Everything sold through A Cuppa Cosy is digital and will need to be printed by you, either through a home printer of your own or a printing service.
Do you offer refunds?
I'm generally not able to offer refunds. The nature of digital items makes it difficult for me to verify whether someone is genuine in their refund request, or if they've simply downloaded the item, asked for a refund, and plan to keep using it regardless.
If you're struggling to access or use the files you've downloaded, please feel free to send me a message and I'll do what I can to help you figure it out!
How do I download the items I purchased?
Etsy has a wonderful article on this topic, so I'd start there:
https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115013328108?segment=shopping
A few of my listings (some of the dated calendars, for example) require the files to be downloaded through Dropbox. Etsy has a strict file size limit, and between things like the variations and fillable portions of the files, the total sometimes surpasses this limit. Dropbox is the next best alternative!
If you purchase one of these items, you'll receive a PDF instantly after purchase with download links. No Dropbox sign-up is required, so it's still a quick and easy process! More details are given in the description of the listing.
If you have any questions about this, please let me know!
How do I access files after downloading them?
All the files in my shop at this time will come either in a ZIP file or a PDF.
For the printables, because of the variations included for each, you'll likely see that what's been downloaded is a ZIP file. Here are some instructions for unzipping files on a Windows computer:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/zip-and-unzip-files-8d28fa72-f2f9-712f-67df-f80cf89fd4e5
And a Mac:
https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/mac-help/mchlp2528/mac
After that, you'll see either PDF files, or folders which contain PDF files. These are your printables! To open them (or any other PDFs from other listings), you'll need Adobe Reader, which is free to download and use:
https://get.adobe.com/reader/
Is there anything else I should know about downloading the printables?
One thing that can cause issues with the download is if you're making the purchase through the mobile Etsy app. If this is your preferred way to browse Etsy, just make sure that after you've purchased your new printables, you download the files through an internet browser (that's something like Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge) to a PC or laptop instead of doing it through the app.
If you're unsure where to look for your purchases on Etsy, this page should help: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013328108-How-to-Download-a-Digital-Item?segment=shopping
What's the story behind your design process?
As far as the functional content goes, all my printables are inspired by something I myself have felt a yearning for, either because it makes my life easier now or could have eased it in the past.
The visual themes I design are inspired by everything from geometric patterns to architecture to sparrows having a dance party in the dirt. Most are sketched out first by hand (usually with pencil, sometimes with ink). Once I'm happy with and feel connected to how the design is shaping up, I move over to my computer, open Inkscape, and start transforming my pencil vision into a digital reality!
Also, I often share my ideas and brainstorm along the way with my lovely Mum, one of the most whimsically creative people I know.
What should I do if I can't print labels on my home printer?
I understand printing services like Avery and VistaPrint to be very good options for address labels! All of my address labels come with individual versions of the design as well as full sheets, and these individual versions are made for ease of use with an online printing service. I've also included tutorials for Avery and VistaPrint.
The font choices will be different than what you see in my listing images, but I have suggested a few great alternatives in the tutorials.
Also, to my understanding, VistaPrint will not allow you to fill in different names and addresses for each label, so you'll only be able to do return address labels through them.
I like to know a little about who I'm purchasing from - what's your stance on issues of inequality, discrimination, and social justice?
Among other things, I firmly believe in working towards a more loving, respectful, and inclusive world, where white supremacy and the systemic oppression it upholds has no foothold. I believe in a world where kids don't need to fear gun violence when they go to school. I believe in a world where shelter and medical care is a right, not a privilege. I believe in a world where we acknowledge the harm done to Indigenous peoples, make reparations, and respect their healing and grieving process.
As well as working to bolster my knowledge and understanding, I actively seek out creations by lesser heard voices; examine my own role in the system; and look for ways (financial and otherwise) to support these causes and issues.
