How many superlatives can you add to "cutest doll in my small doll family"? (Wouldn't be fair to the others, anyway!) But Vanessa is adorable -- managing to look delicate but with a sparky personality in one cute package. I knew she would be well-made, having bought a number of April's dolls over quite a few years. Her outfit is so very Canadian with her buffalo plaid kilt and trapper hat, when I saw her I leaped to claim her, knowing she had to stay in her native Canada! So happy that I did!

As expected. All Effner dolls are just lovely.

I received darling little Siobhan a few days ago, and found a dress she liked and took her homecoming portrait. My scanner is acting up, though, so I will just have to say in words that she is a delight to the eyes! I have bought other dolls painted by April for some years now and knew her first-class work already, so I had no hesitation in buying Siobhan the instant I saw her on Etsy. Always a treat to unwrap a new April Norton doll!
