Hello you and thank you for stopping by!🖤
I have been selling my felt wearable art pieces since 2015 under our brand name Wanderlust & Faeriedust - my pieces have taken on a life or their own and with it a separate online shop :)

I felt wearable art pieces with an edge to them, an edge of untamed and wild - inspired by my own everyday life in the wild of BC Canada, stories of the North, mythical creatures and other worlds that are as close to me as the world I find myself in right now.

I am the sole maker of each piece you see in the shop. My pieces are one-of-a-kind creations.

I am deeply inspired by and connected to the medium wool. Not only wool but the organic relationship of working with farmers that love their animals, connecting to each piece I create and honouring the ancient craft of clothes making.

It's all LOVE.

About AnninaFeltart

It's more than a Passion

I grew up with wool and started knitting when I was 6 years old. It's more than a passion, it has become a way of life.
I feel connected to the groundedness of Earth, to the Spirit of the medium.
From knitting I found my way to felting and spinning and have been selling my pieces since 2015 under my partners and my brand 'Wanderlust & Faeriedust'.
My creations have developed a life of their own, and I am honouring that with a separate shop.

I felt wearable art pieces with an edge, a nod to the Wild & Free - inspired by my humble everyday life in the Wild of BC Canada, Stories of the North, mythical creatures and other worlds that are as close to me as the world I find myself in right now.

To speak further on my surroundings; I live a humble & inspired life with my partner of 6 years in a transformed Mini Schoolbus selling in person at a lot of markets and festivals. In our hometown we have a small but mighty studio where we create.

I am deeply inspired and connected to the medium wool the way it comes from the animal - Not only in form of felting or spinning, but the organic connection of working with farmers that I get to know, creating as much of a connection to the medium as I can.
I create with intention and always ethically sourced shearings, honouring the ancient craft of clothes making.

I am the sole maker of each piece you see in the shop. My pieces are one-of-a-kind creations, intuitively crafted in the moment with utmost care and integrity.
Also I am the model in the photos :)

It's all LOVE.
And Freedom.

Blessed be!

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions for Wool

Wool is a natural material.
Please DO NOT just throw it in the washing machine.
I am not responsible for ill-care of your garment. You can always reach out if you have any questions.

Wool has self-cleansing properties and takes care of bacteria.
Try to spot-treat it first if there is a persisting stain.
Other than that if you must wash, HANDWASH only in lukewarm water with a wool friendly soap like Eucalan that does not have to be rinsed out.
The less you handle it, the better. Lay flat to dry.

For my raw lock Collars:
Do not work the locks too hard in the water. When dry, shake the collar or loosen the locks with your hands. (DO NOT brush them or you'll loose the natural curl)

Sizing details

All my Eco-Collars and Shawls are One Size fits all.

For my vests and other pieces I try to be as accurate with a size description as I can.
If you are unsure if it's going to fit you, feel free to reach out with your measurements BEFORE you buy.
I will always accommodate as much as I can.

Please understand that the pieces are one-of-a-kind, I cannot just simply make the exact same piece again.
A similar one, yes :)

I am friendly..

..If you have any specific questions towards my pieces, wool care or the wool I use, do not hesitate to message me.

Please reach out before ordering, it makes yours and my life easier.
