I LOVE THEM! I didn't expect them to be so small, for some reason I thought they would be longer. But these are perfect! It will fit inside any size wallet or even just a pocket if you need it as a quick reference!!!

I make cards, zines, calendars and other paper things that I hope are useful, amusing, and informative
I am inspired by a love of nature, art and functional design, coupled with a wide-ranging curiosity, and a zeal to share what I find fascinating, beautiful, useful, and valuable. To me, that means crafting things that people can use to do ordinary things better and with more joy, while helping them to understand and appreciate one another and the natural world a little bit more.
I also like figuring things out, and working with paper and other book arts materials and methods to design useful things that delight. I make a calendar that is filled with tidbits of information about many cultures; designed a notebook with numbered pages and a fill-in-the-blanks table of contents; and created some amusing and informative chapbooks and zines. Many of my notecards have a bit of natural history or folklore on the back about the animal or flower featured on the front.
I try to infuse my work with the joy and playfulness that I feel when researching, designing, and creating them. I hope you will find something here that meets a need, makes you smile, tickles your curiosity, answers a question—or raises one!

Shipping
I ship via first class mail for most things, and will use Priority Mail for US addresses when selected at checkout or when combined shipping charges cover the cost of Priority Mail. I'll refund excess shipping charges if the actual shipping and handling cost is less, which can sometimes happen when you buy several items (I do try to allow for that in the way that I set the charges).
If you live in Minneapolis/St. Paul and would like to arrange to pick up your order, please use coupon code LOCALPICKUP to waive the shipping charge and I'll contact you to arrange a pick-up time. I can also refund shipping if you didn't use the code. I live in South Minneapolis's Longfellow neighborhood.
SHIPPING TO OUTSIDE THE US: I use first class international mail, which comes with tracking in some countries. I do expect buyers to take care of any local taxes and customs fees on their end, and I do not know what those might be.

Custom and personalized orders
The text on cards and book plates can be changed; all book plate listings include a custom option for $8 extra. If you want custom printing on cards, please contact me to work out the details.
I welcome requests for custom made journals, too. Please don't hesitate to ask if interested. Allow about 2 weeks plus shipping time.
I do not do custom drawings or pet portraits, sorry! Neither can I alter an existing drawing.
Wholesale availability
I offer quantity discounts on cards (which are $4 per single card) through existing listings of 5 cards for $15 and 10 cards for $20. Since the 10-card deal is already marked down to half price, that is the same as wholesale and available to all customers. Some other items are available for wholesale (quantity discounts). Please ask if interested.
