Ashdel is a collection of modern textile jewelry created from vintage fabric and glass beads. All pieces are designed and handmade by Ashley Delose in Austin, TX.

Vintage materials are at the heart of her design process and inspire limited collections. Sewing notions from previous eras, typically used in garment making (fabric trims, threads, and fasteners), are repurposed and combined with beadwork to create modern pieces. Her work is experimental yet grounded in traditional techniques like sewing, collage, Japanese braiding (kumihimo), beading, and embroidery.

Ashley grew up in Florida and lived in New York before moving to Texas. After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Visual Art and Theater Production (Costume Design) she began experimenting with textiles and jewelry making, now the foundation of her work.

While living and working in New York she sold her pieces at Artists & Fleas, Renegade Craft Fair, Hester Street Fair, and The Textile Arts Center. You can find her at in-person pop-up markets around Austin throughout the Spring, Fall and Holiday seasons.
