All Things Old... From Antique Lighting to Vintage Jewelry and everything in between

My husband and I have been picking and selling antiques for over 25 years. Our main focus throughout the years has been vintage & antique lighting, but we have dabbled in most everything antique, from art glass and pottery, to bigger furniture items. Before the internet took over we did a lot of traveling and selling through Auction Houses and Antique Shows. Johann (hubby) juggled his love for old lighting with work as an electrician, so now you can understand why old lighting would become his passion. While he was busy working on Fridays, I would load up our a rented uhaul with all the goodies for a weekend show. It was taxing, we also had a little shop so I would have to wrap all the fragile items, box them and drive usually to the San Francisco bay area where I would unpack and set up. Johann would join me late Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. However, the internet brought changes to how we sold our antiques, with our increasing age, I am thankful for this, I cannot imagine doing what we did all those years ago. Aunt Sallys Closet is now one of our preferred ways of selling. I love the stress and hassle free shop I am able to run. We also like purchasing through other Etsy shops, everyone here on Etsy is wonderful to deal with, we are impressed by all the talent and high quality of items.
