I have been sewing since I was 5 years old!

I do many ready to ship items and take custom orders occasionally. Many of my ready to ship items are one of a kind.

    I am a lifelong sewist, who started hand stitching at the age of 5 and was using a machine by 6. I don't think there's anything I haven't made! I love fabric, buying it, collecting it, hoarding it, and sewing it!

I make all my products from my home studio. We are non-smokers but we do have 2 family dogs (a Westie, and a Scottie), they do not sleep ON or AMONGST my sewing supplies, fabric or finished products. Terriers are more Hypoallergenic than most dogs as they have "hair" not "fur", however if you are nervous or have terrible allergies PLEASE do not buy from me.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I DO NOT refund custom orders. I will refund STOCK items but the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to return the item to me, and the original shipping cost will not be refunded. Item must be in the same condition it was shipped out in (new and unused). Item must be returned to me within 2 weeks of receiving it. Refund will not be granted until I receive and inspect the item. Items damaged by post will be refunded IF I there's insurance on the parcel and I have received an insurance refund from the postal company. If you have had an item sent without tracking or insurance then this is completely at YOUR OWN risk. No refunds will be made for lost packages or damaged packages if they were NOT insured or tracked.
Payment
I accept PayPal and credit cards.
Shipping
All items are shipped to the address you have registered on Etsy. Please check that this is correct, as I will not be responsible if you have not updated your Etsy address, and you do not receive your package.
RE: Canada Post strikes/Lockouts: I cannot be held responsible for long delays due to Canada Posts labour negotiations causing strikes or Lock outs. Items will be sent as soon as possible when service has returned to normal.
The customer is responsible for ALL duty, border, import charges that may be applied at the border. It is illegal for me to mark these purchases as gifts to avoid paying customs fees. All border/customs fees and duty and brokerage charges are the SOLE responsibilty of the purchaser, My shipping charge does NOT include duty/customs/brokerage fees that may be incurred.
If you choose to not accept a delivery because of these fees at the border, you will not be refunded the original shipping charge. I will refund the original purchase IF and WHEN I get it back within a reasonable time frame.

If you choose an alternative method to have your parcel shipped (for faster service), I will need to invoice you for the extra amount. It is substantially MORE..(like double). Please be aware that using Private couriers such as UPS, FEDEX, or Purolator, will almost certainly incur CUSTOMS/DUTY fees that you will be responsible for. (Parcels shipped through Canada Post/USPS aren't usually flagged for these fee, luckily!.)


PLEASE be aware that parcels coming from Canada into the US could take 10-21 days or more, and this is "normal". I realize that you aren't accustomed to this if you reside in the US, but for Canada it's perfectly normal and is absolutely out of my hands to change it or make it faster. I do my utmost to pack up your item and get it into the mail asap, 1-3 business is my turn around, but I rarely need 3 business days to do it...it's usually in the mail the next business day. I am a friendly person who answers all convos so please let me know if you are having an issue.
