Very nice, good for sampling colors before committing on a larger loom. The extras, are awesome, love the lucet. The tassel and pompom makers will get used more with my knitting then with my weaving.but loving it

I did contact the shop and they did say I could return it but they had spent lots of time on the design. I feel that although it works for very small projects. The loom is made of cheap, thin wood. None of the pieces have been sanded, I got splinters from the pick stick. It and the shuttles are so rough they catch on the warp thread. I wouldn't recommend the product be cause of the flimsiness and the unfinished nature of the parts and loom.

We are deeply sorry to hear of this experience with our loom. We exist to share our love of woodworking and fiber arts, and to make creating enjoyable. Our loom is intended to be lightweight and portable and we use the best wood we can find for our production method. The cutting method generally leaves each piece smooth, and we do check over every piece of the kit before packaging. The natural qualities of the wood and human error can sometimes work against what we are trying to achieve! We stand behind our products and truly care about our customers. The offer is still open for you to return the loom for a refund, or we would also be more than happy to send you replacements for the defective pieces. Please let us know!

About

A unique collaboration between a woodworker and a fiber artist.

I have gone down different avenues of design, including fashion design for women and children, and working as an art department director for an embroidery design firm. Over the years I have explored many areas of the fiber arts and love to combine techniques. I have been designing crochet patterns for publication since 2006. It has been a dream of mine to create unique jewelry kits to stitch and to be able to combine the work that I do with the work that my husband does.

My husband changed careers recently, to follow his dream of starting his own woodworking business. He now specializes in designing and building custom pieces, structures, and signs for businesses and events.

We develop new concepts and work out all of the design issues together, using a combination of modern technology and fiber arts techniques to create unique items.

We have sourced the most beautiful types of exotic woods and high quality yarns from around the globe to create our unique kits. We hope you will enjoy stitching them or giving them as gifts, as much as we enjoyed creating them!

If you would like to know more about the work we do individually, you can visit my blog: www.stitch-story.com, or my husband's Instagram account:@ewood_q8
