About

A girl with some felt and a crazy thought...

Felterrific was born on Novemebr 5, 2011.

I was sitting at my kitchen table, making advent calendars for my nieces & nephew. I had made one for my girls, and knew that my nieces and nephew needed one too! I have fond memories of the one we had as kids. (Even though we are all grown, my mom still hangs it up every year.) My brother, sister and I fought over who would get to put the star on top every single year.

As I was working on them.. I had this crazy thought...

"I wonder if people would buy these."

I took some pictures, with the help of my sister came up with a name, and opened my Etsy store. About 10 days later, someone bought one! And then another.. and another!

Four years later,, felt is my life! Making decorations, playthings and memories for kids and their families, has truly become my passion. My favorite part is definitely doing custom orders- To help someone make their vision come to life is an amazing feeling!

...And You can find tiny bits of felt in pretty much every room in my house. :)

If you are not satisfied or there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me immediately via Etsy conversation. Please do not email me. I will do my best to fix the situation to the best of my ability on a case by case basis.

***If you need your order by a certain date (and haven't already let me know) please contact me immediately via Etsy Conversation- please do not email me. I am not responsible for items not arriving on time if I have not been made aware of the party date/deadline.

Domestic shipments of large calendars are sent in Priority Mail Small Mailing tubes to help prevent the dowel rods from breaking. Please contact me if you receive one that is broken. I will either replace the broken one, or issue a $5 refund if you choose to replace it yourself.

Lost, Stolen, Damaged Items:
Felterrific cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. That being said, situations will be handed on a case by case basis. Please notify me immediately if there is any problem.
Payment
Felterrific accepts PayPal, Credit Cards, and Etsy Gift Cards.
California residents will be charged sales tax.
Shipping
MOST items will ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail within 5-7 BUSINESS days after receipt of payment. (Business days are counted as Monday through Friday. They do not include weekends or holidays. Depending when you order, it can actually be 10-12 calendar days.) Some made to order items to take longer.

If you need an item faster than the stated turn around time, or by a specific date please note it when ordering, or contact me through Etsy. Please DO NOT email me. I will do my best to accommodate you. There are times when I am running behind, and if there is not a specific date listed, I work under the assumption that you have ordered ahead of time. I am not responsible for items not arriving on time if I have not been made aware of the party date/deadline.

If you wish your package to arrive faster than the stated shipping method, please purchase a shipping upgrade. (If an option for an upgrade is not included in the listing, you are already paying for Priority Mail.) I will ship using the fastest method available for the shipping that was paid. Shipping upgrades do not lessen turn around time. They only expedite the actual shipping time. First Class Mail is typically 5-7 days, Priority Mail 2-3 days and Express Mail 1-2 Days.

Orders containing more than 2 items may take a slightly longer turn around time than noted in the listing. You will be notified if your order will require additional time.

You will receive a notification email when your order has shipped, which will include a USPS tracking number (domestic shipments only). Felterrific can not be held responsible for loss or damage to the package once it has shipped.

**You can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your Etsy account and going to your Purchases and Reviews, and clicking on your receipt. The date your order will be shipped is located at the top of the box marked "Shipping Details."

If you wish to add insurance to your shipment, please contact me via conversation.

*Felterrific will gladly ship internationally. If a shipping cost isn't listed for your country, please contact me and I will be happy to set one up! Your shipping total will be calculated based on weight and destination at checkout. Felterrific cannot be responsible for any international custom and duty fees, taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by the carrier. These fees are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping. We are required by law to declare all items as merchandise, and will not mark items as "gift". We cannot be liable for any delays due to packages held at customs. USPS DOES NOT provide tracking numbers for International orders. If you require a tracking number, please contact us prior to checkout and shipping can be upgraded at your expense to include tracking.
