Inspired, simple design

Gingerly was started in 2004 with just a website and a dream. I had signed up for school and registered for courses when something hit me; if I didn't take a chance on my dream now, when would I?

So I dropped the classes and sunk the money into registering my company and purchasing supplies.

Within a few years, I had dozens of stores carrying my line, local and national press and I had met some amazing people along the way.

Gingerly changed a bit when my husband and I started a family in 2011. I took a break while my little ones were babes, but now that they are a bit older, I'm feeling the creative process start to flow again. I've started selling online again (via Etsy this time!) and I'm excited for the new and inspired things that I get to create.

I love what I do I hope you do too.

    I've always had a stash of beads and jewelry parts hidden in all areas of my room while growing up. When other kids were out selling lemonade, I was going door to door selling my creations to anyone who would answer the door around my neighbourhood.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
For damages:
Please contact me within 10 days of receiving your product, if you received it damaged. Once your return/repair is approved, you must send it back in the original packaging. Once I receive the return I will refund the full amount of the sale minus the shipping cost.

For Returns:
For hygiene reasons, I do not accept refunds or exchanges on earrings.
If you are requesting a refund, please contact me via convo. I will require a photo of the item before accepting the refund and all refunds are subject to my approval before I can process it. The item that is being requested for a refund, must also be shipped back to me at the buyers expense, and received by me before the refund can be processed. I do not refund initial shipping charges on your original order if you are returning or exchanging.

The item must be in it's original and unworn condition.
For US customers, a $3 fee to will subtracted from your refund for a restocking fee.

For exchanges, all return shipping costs are up to the buyer to pay. I'm not responsible for any tax and duty charges.

Keep in mind, that all items made with vintage pieces will have some natural wear and tear (character!).
For payment I accept credit cards (via Etsy Payments), Paypal, and Etsy giftcards. If you live in BC you will be charged 7% PST and all Canadian Provinces will be charged their required GST/HST
Please note:
Due to Covid-19, it's difficult for me to provide estimations on shipping times. Normally they are as follows:
USPS: 3-5 business days
Canada Post: 5-12 business days
Asendia (international) 15-50 business days (international orders do not qualify for my lost package policy until 3 months from the order date have passed)

However, there have been significant delays with international deliveries (outside North America)
Within Canada and the US, it's normally a few business days longer than average, however, it can still be longer than that.

All orders are shipped within one to two business day of, with the exception of custom orders. For custom orders, I will supply a ship date at the time of purchase (usually 2 business days)

✨new✨ all orders to the US will now be sent via USPS First Class Mail. All orders to Canada will still be sent via Canada Post.

If you wish to have your item shipped a different or faster method, please contact me prior to making your purchase so we can decide on the best option for your order. I will then create a custom listing for you and notify you when it's ready.

I do ship worldwide, but it's your responsibility to pay all customs/duty/tax charges that may be incurred when bringing the package across your country's border. I am not responsible for any hold up that may occur at customs.

Please make sure your Etsy mailing address is current, that is the one I use for shipping orders.

If an order is not received within 40 days of shipping (this only includes packages sent to Canada and the US. International packages are a minimum of 3 months until they are counted lost), we I deem the package lost and resend it to you. (some exceptions may apply to this, depending on where the order was sent, what time of year and the nature of the items purchased)

Every listing has a detailed description of size and measurements, but if you are still unsure, please don't hesitate to contact me regarding an item.

Care instructions

To ensure that your jewelry stays in good condition and keeps it's original lustre, keep it out of contact with water (remove before taking a shower or swimming) and store in a dim place like a jewelry box away from direct sunlight.

Gift wrapping and packaging

My listings include a picture of the wrapping/packaging that you're purchase will be sent in. If you have any special packaging requests, please don't hesitate to ask!

Wholesale availability

I do wholesale orders as well! I can offer discounts with proof of store ownership and a minimum order. (Please contact me via Etsy convo and I'll send you the details)
