iloveyoumorephotos

iloveyoumorephotos is the companion store to iloveyoumore. I have collected old photos for years and one day I sat down with the piles and decided to share my collection on etsy. I sell vintage vernacular photography and snapshots as well as Kodachrome and other 35mm photo slides.
Snapshots are a moment in time captured on film. The faces are mostly unknown yet they evoke a familiar feeling in their activities and behaviors and emotions.

Returns and exchanges
Due to the nature of the items sold in my shop I do not accept returns. If you have received an item that is not what you were expecting please contact me and we can work it out. Each item sent within the U.S. and Canada will have tracking. If an item is lost or damaged please contact me.
Customer satisfaction is a top priority. I do my best to describe items as they are and communicate any notable quirks or less than perfect parts of the photo. Please contact me before purchasing if you have any questions regarding condition or appearance.
Payment
I accept Etsy direct check out and Paypal. If you have contacted me and have reserved items in my shop they will be held for 7 days. International buyers are responsible for all customs fees and taxes. If you need to cancel an order please let me know as soon as possible. Returns are not accepted due to the nature of the items in my store. If you receive something that is different than what you expected please contact me and we can work something out.
Shipping
The minimum charge for shipping is $3.00 each additional item has a very minimal additional cost. I do refund some shipping overages if they are excessive. Photos sent internationally will be sent First Class International mail as a letter if multiple photos or slides are being sent I may send them in separate packets to keep costs more affordable for you. If you would like tracking there is an additional charge for registered mail. Please contact me and I can set that up. It takes longer to arrive to you but it is very secure.

- Do you offer discounts? I offer a 10 percent discount on orders of $15 or more. Use coupon code LOVE10 when you check out.

- Will the photo I purchase look exactly like the pictures in your listing? I scan my photos and will only enhance to present the photo as it actually is. I make notations after the size description when there may be a difference (i.e. photo is lighter or darker).

-Do you accept offers? It never hurts to ask! I am pretty firm on my pricing and I do offer a discount coupon. New stock, time to process, edit and do all the magic involved in offering a fabulous selection for you has been taken into consideration when determining pricing as well as the subject matter and condition of the photos.

- Are your photos original? Yes, all photos, unless they are instant downloads are original photos.

- Do your pictures look exactly the same as what I see on my computer? For the most part, yes. All computer monitors vary and our eyes see things differently. I minimally enhance my photos. I sometimes use the "auto-correct" feature in my editing program to enhance photo slides. If there is a big difference in the original I will state that in the description.

- How do you come up with the titles of your photos? When I look at each photo a descriptive title or name comes to me. They are mostly fictional but they have something to do with the photo and what I'm seeing. Depending on my mood that day they may or may not be funny. Sometimes, others agree.

- Do your photos come from a smoke free and pet free home? Yes, and no..I have a smoke free home but to me, a home without pets is sad and lonely. I have two dogs and a cat. I keep my inventory away from all pets but a stray strand of fur may find its way under my tape.

- Where do you get your photos? My inventory is purchased from estate sales, garage sales and wherever I can find photos. I am a photo magnet and they find me sometimes! If you have photos you'd like to sell I'd love to hear from you.

- Are your photos in perfect condition? The photos I list in my shop are chosen based on the image not the condition. It's possible the photo will have album or paste residue, creases, wrinkles, photo corners and perhaps a tiny tear. I will note the major imperfections in the listing. I may list a photo that is not in perfect condition.

- What is your customer service policy? I love people and my customers are wonderful. I believe any issue can be resolved with good communication. I come from a background of customer service and I am committed to responding to messages promptly and creating a win win.

- Do you promote your shop on social media? I have a facebook page for iloveyoumorephotos and I post each listing to Pinterest. Sometimes I sell photo lots on another large site under the name boobookitty98208.
