This dish is very sweet, but it was finished a bit rougher than I had hoped. I expected (and am happy with) a handmade look but there were a few spots missing glaze that I have concerns about water penetrating when I wash it, however it will likely only be gently used so may be ok. I gifted it to my husband for Valentines day with some chips and dip and thought it might also be useful for serving olives with toothpicks in the centre. UPDATE. Seller was extremely responsive to my review and sent a second dish as a replacement. Above and beyond necessary but so appreciated. I will be purchasing again!
