Many years ago, I began collecting depression glass. In my hunts, I came across other items which I knew could be sold for a profit, thus a dealer was born. It soon became an addiction and I set up at flea markets, shows, and rented booths in antique malls. I joined the world of ecommerce in 1998. My love of sewing patterns stems from my mother, who was the best seamstress I've ever known. I used to sit and look through her boxes of patterns and she would tell me the year she made a certain dress.

Just a reminder that shipping is going to be slow. Mail carriers are dealing with an increased volume of deliveries, worker shortages and new policies from the US postal service which have slowed down estimates for delivery.
Please have patience. Contact me before you give up hope of lost packages. Sometimes I can help but 90% of the time, the post office is the culprit. You can request email updates from the post office website on your package which sometimes gets it moving again. It's my hope that your item gets where it's going as soon as possible, but given the factors involved, the delivery time is only an estimate. If your order is marked as delivered but you have not received it, PLEASE contact your local post office and ask for the GPS coordinates where the item was left. Sometimes a package is misdelivered. Once an item is marked as delivered, there is nothing I can do on my end. I have tried contacting post offices for customers but 99% of the time, they tell me to have their customer (you) call them, not me, the seller.
Adjustments will not be made if my shop is running a sale. For instance, if you purchase a sheet of wrapping paper, then I place that section on sale two days later, no price adjustment will be made.

I don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations but please contact me if there is a problem with your order. If a return is mutually agreed upon, the item must be returned to me within 7 (seven) days of the date you receive it, based on the delivery confirmation notice from the USPS.

Delivery
I try to ship the day after receiving an order but the shipping time frame you see is longer - this is because we lose power so frequently here in the middle-of-nowhere, TN:) Without power, I am without a computer.
I no longer ship outside of the US.
Additional policies and FAQs
We live in the country and are often without power, thus I am without a computer and a printer. (We are the end of the line for electricity on this road so are the last to be restored). If you do not receive a shipping notice within 3 days after a transaction, please be patient - I will contact you as soon as power is restored.
In addition, TN is prone to some very nasty ice storms. As mentioned, we live in the country, where the roads are long, winding, and frequently never receive sunlight. There are no salt trucks that come out here. My mailbox is about a quarter mile down a steep hill and after an ice storm, I can't navigate the hill on foot or by truck. In serious cases, as in the winter of 2017-2018, there was no mail delivered or picked up for a few days. In October, 2019, we were without power for ten days due to tornadoes and violent straight line winds.

Adjustments will not be made if my shop is running a sale. For instance, if you purchase a sheet of wrapping paper, then I place that section on sale two days later, no price adjustment will be made.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Frequently asked questions
Do you recycle packing materials?

Yes, in certain instances. I recycle packaged air and peanuts when needed. If an item doesn't fit into a USPS mailing box, I'll recycle a box as well.

My package is missing but says delivered. Do you refund?

No, if the Post Office says it has been delivered, there is nothing I can do. Customer may check with neighbors, behind bushes, and/or file a police report. It is the buyer's responsibility to have a secure location for packages. The best solution is to contact your local post office and demand the GPS coordinates where item was dropped off. Sometimes a package is misdelivered and the GPS will show this.

Do you combine shipping?

Yes, I do. For breakables, I will do so only if I feel it is safe. Buyers check out as normal, then I will refund the excess shipping after the items are packaged. For patterns and gift wrap, I have shipping profiles already set up for combined shipping, as long as items are purchased at the same time.
