Hi there! Welcome to the world of Lee's Bees. I own a picturesque farm in northwestern NJ called Silver Spring Farm. Every plant that grows, the chickens that cluck and dig in the yard, and even the bees I raise are cared for the old fashioned way - organically. I respect the soil, air, water - there are no chemical cleaners used in the house, either. Each product for sale in this shop is entirely made and packed by hand, by me. I raise the bees, collect the honey and wax, and each item listed is made in tiny batches. I hope that you can see the love I put into each item through the quality of the products I sell.
Bees are amazing creatures. For living beings so tiny in size, they possess far more patience, bravery and common sense than I could ever hope to have. I learn from them daily. The bees make me realize that humans do not possess the earth, we merely occupy it. Honey bees are struggling for survival. This may not seem a big thing until you put the situation into proper perspective: One out of every three bites humans eat is dependent upon the honey bee. By purchasing products from small local beekeepers like me, you are encouraging us to expand our apiaries, which in turn increases the amounts of survivor bees available to pollinate local crops and fruit trees. Know your beekeeper. Know where your honey comes from. Know that it is REAL.

If you live out in the desert somewhere and the sun bakes your mailbox, do not order from me in the summer. The stuff WILL melt.
