Q: Why hasn't my order appeared as "shipped" yet?
A: I usually package and ship through the mobile app in batches. Because Etsy does not currently offer a way to mark orders as completed on the mobile app, I typically do not get around to doing so until I am on my laptop.
Q: Why have your prices increased so much?
A: Two words: Finder's Fee. Prices for non-European customers will return to normal once my BigCartel is set up (see my carrd.co/website for more information), but because Etsy is a platform with high fees, I needed to increase my prices to match that.
Price Breakdown:
materials + illustration + finders fee = listing price (not including shipping)
Q: Why are delivery times so long?
A: Two reasons – 1. I am currently working full time (with a schedule that isn't super ideal...) and it means that a lot of my downtime is spent studying, prepping, or away from my workspace. That said, I am always trying new ways to organize my time better so I can manage to get orders out sooner.
2. Because I am shipping out of Canada, delivery times are REALLY slow – especially if you are buying from outside of North America. USPS is fairly fast once the package gets to the States, though!
Q: Are you really sending your dog to post-secondary
A: No. But a lot of the money I make from my store goes directly into his bank account to pay for his habit of licking nasty water.
