We recently had twins, our first children, and I was looking for something special for my better half (she had expressed how she was interested in jewelry to represent each child). When I searched for jewelry + twins in Etsy, this piece from LilyEmmeJewelry came up. I fell in love with the piece: simple, elegant, and representative of our new additions and the special bond that they have. It turns out, she fell in love with it also. I/We could not be more happy with this piece. The package came a week earlier than anticipated, which is a nice surprise. Thank you!

Hi! My name is Valerie. I am the owner, designer, maker, photographer, bookkeeper, and janitor here at LilyEmme Jewelry. I'm a one-woman shop! I live in Seattle with my husband and our furry kids and I get to do what I love every day. I make jewelry for thoughtful, eco conscious couples and individuals who are looking for excellently crafted and durable pieces.

My background is in Environmental Science & Resource Management but when I discovered jewelry changed paths and have found ways to incorporate my love for the Earth and environmentally responsible means for sourcing jewelry materials. Using recycled metals from reputable refineries is one of the most important qualities of my line and I work with diamonds that are imported under strict regulations to ensure that they are conflict-free.

My design aesthetic is a modern and minimalist one and every piece is designed to become a treasured piece of your jewelry collection for many years to come. My favorite pieces to create are the ones that are understated but charming, simple and elegant. And don't forget comfort, that's just as important!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
If you find that there is an error in your order, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll make it right either by replacement, exchange, or refund.

E X C H A N G E S
I will happily accept exchanges for different items from my shop if addressed within 7 days of receipt. To exchange a ring for a different size, resizing (with a fee) may be required for some styles.

R E F U N D S
Please contact us regarding refunds within 7 days of receipt of your order so we can discuss the details. Please do not return items without return authorization. Refunds do not include shipping charges in either direction nor are Customs fees refundable. Please return your item(s) in the same packaging sent. Delivery confirmation and insurance is recommended when mailing back to me.

● Made-to-order bracelets and rings will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Ring orders cancelled after 72 hours will also be subject to the 10% restocking fee.
● There are *no refunds for liquidation or clearance items, custom-made (designed and created once specifically for you) and custom engraved items. If a rush production fee was applied to your order, this is non-refundable.

The individual jewelry listing contains the current production time for the specific item. We'll ship your order within this window and we'll send you a heads up with a tracking number as soon as it is available. Every order is gift-wrapped and shipped in a rigid mailer box with insurance, tracking, and delivery confirmation (some countries excluded).

D O M E S T I C S H I P P I N G
U.S. orders are shipped via USPS First Class mail and usually delivered 3-5 business days later. Upgrades for USPS Priority Mail 2-3 day delivery as well as FedEx guaranteed 2-day delivery are also available and can be selected prior to checkout without separate invoicing. Please note that although it is generally not an issue, the USPS cannot guarantee delivery dates so if you need a guaranteed delivery date, FedEx is the best option since they have a money-back guarantee. Shipping upgrades do not increase production time, only the shipping time, so please heed the times listed in the item description.

Orders over $250 will require a signature confirmation upon delivery to ensure the safety of your order. If this applies to your order, please be sure to provide a shipping address where you will be present to provide a signature, otherwise it may be held at your local post office branch. Thank you!

All packages valued at $249.99 or less are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail which delivers in 2-4 weeks average. Upgrades for USPS Priority International Mail with 6-12 business day delivery are available and can be selected prior to checkout without separate invoicing. All packages valued at more than $250 are shipped via Priority International Mail which delivers in 6-12 business days average with a tracking number, insurance and delivery confirmation. USPS Priority EXPRESS International Mail with 3-6 business day delivery is an available shipping upgrade that can be selected prior to checkout.

If we can use FedEx international shipping for a lower cost, we will do that and pass the savings on to you in the form of a refund.

Please note that the tracking number you receive only tracks the package while it is in the U.S. Once it reaches your country, the tracking status will no longer be updated until it reaches its final destination.

International buyers, please note:
- Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyers responsibility.
- Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
- These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight or shipping company or when you pick the item up, do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

We will not state “Gift” on the package. We fill out custom forms accurately and truthfully, so please do not ask us to falsify information of any kind. We claim full retail value on our customs forms for insurance purposes.

LilyEmme is an Eco friendly jewelry company, with a strong preference for using raw materials from eco conscious metal refining companies that supply us with 100% recycled/reclaimed precious metals. All items are made individually by hand so please allow for some slight variation from one piece to the next. See below for answers to some of our frequently asked questions.

Most items do not take as long as the processing time state but are there *just in case*. Please don't hesitate to contact me to verify my current processing times.

►R E S I Z I N G
Available for most items. Please be sure you have the correct ring size prior to purchasing. We recommend visiting at least two local jewelers to be sized for free as sizing tools can vary slightly between jewelers, however we use the most universal sizing tools available. For some items, it may be impossible to resize and a new ring will need to be re-fabricated for additional costs. If resizing is required, please contact me and we can discuss the rates.

►CU S T O M O R D E R S
Sometimes I can make variations, but I generally have quite a queue of orders to complete so most custom order requests are not being accepted at this time. Custom orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and require a 50% deposit (no returns possible).

Frequently asked questions

Are your items solid gold?

Yes! Every single component of my jewelry is made with solid 14K gold (unless it is noted specifically as 18K gold or platinum or otherwise). This includes chains, earring posts and backs, and everything else. If you have sensitivities to metal and can only wear real gold then my jewelry is great for you since it is never plated, dipped, filled, etc.

Do you offer a warranty on your items?

Yes!

1) Free cleaning, inspection, re-polish and re-finish service for the lifetime of your piece.
2) 1 year complimentary setting repair. Setting repair includes tightening of any loose gemstone or diamond and prong re-tipping.
3) 1 year complimentary accent gemstone/diamond replacement. Warranty does not include replacement of stones larger than 0.20 carat.
4) 90-day complimentary chain and clasp repair.

The above services are non transferable and intended only for the original customer or gift recipient. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear, loss or damage. Repairs done by non-approved companies will void this warranty.

Can you work with my old gold jewelry and gemstones/diamonds?

Unfortunately this is not a service I offer at this time.

May I visit your Seattle studio to pick up my order in person?

Yes! If you are in Seattle you can get in touch with me to arrange to visit my jewelry studio. I am located near the International District.

This item is a gift; will you leave out the invoice and add gift wrap?

No problem! Actually, I never print an invoice since we all have a copy of it in our Etsy account under "purchases and reviews". All of my items come in a beautiful presentation box or suede pouch.

Care instructions

If you do feel the need to polish up your jewelry, I recommend using a polishing cloth or an old toothbrush and a squirt of Dawn dish soap and warm water can go a long way in helping your jewelry shine again. For the very few silver rings I offer, please know that it is natural for your sterling silver jewelry to tarnish over time. Tarnishing is a natural process and not a negative indicator of its quality. In addition, everyone has different body chemistry so on some individuals, sterling silver may tarnish more quickly than on others due to higher levels of skin acidity. It's a good idea to remove all jewelry and place it somewhere safe before working out, swimming, showering, or getting your hands dirty in general.
