Hello! My name is Kristen Latimer and I am a very proud mother of three beautiful children, Meghan, Jack and Matthew (hence the name - MJM Jewelry Designs!)

After working for many years in the insurance industry, my life went in a different direction. I had my second child and decided that the cost of daycare was eating up my entire paycheck and so I changed careers and became a full time Mom! Best thing I ever did! It is so wonderful to be able to share every moment with your children, watch them grow and evolve and just to be that person that they come to for all of their needs. It is by far the most exhausting but fulfilling job that I have ever had.

Being blessed with a creative mind, a heaping helping of patience and a love for beautiful jewelry, I started designing my own pieces after Jack was born, as a way to occupy my mind and allow me to still use my creativity (and let's be honest, to pay for diapers and formula!). Then I had Matthew, and although my time became a little more limited, I still enjoy making beautiful jewelry and do so every chance I get!

I love to search the internet and here on Etsy as well for lampwork beads to use in my designs, and although I would like to be able to make my own lampwork someday, for now I will leave that in the hands of the very talented glass artists that I have met along the way. Some of the other materials that I enjoy using are Swarovski Crystals, Cat's Eye, Kazuri beads and loads of silver! I am always trying out new techniques and styles and I try to have a variety of pieces to offer in many different colors, sizes, and price ranges.

I am happy to take custom orders, as this allows me to take your ideas, incorporate them with my own and create a unique and stunning piece of jewelry that you will love wearing for years to come!

In case you are interested in what I am up to, I have recently started a blog that you can check out here: http://mjmjewelrydesigns.blogspot.com/

Returns and exchanges

I strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and I use quality materials in my designs. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, I will accept a return within 15 days of delivery so long as the item is returned in the new, unused condition that you received it and I will issue you a refund (less any S/H charges). Please email me first to let me know the details.

As some of the pieces I offer are made with fragile materials (ie: lampwork glass), please handle with care as dropping them or abusing them may cause unrepairable damage.
Payment is expected within THREE days of your purchase. I prefer PayPal, however, I will accept a money order for payment. Please note that I will not ship your items until the funds have cleared my bank.

**Major Credit Cards Now Accepted!**
Shipping Policies:

Combined shipping is available for multiple items purchased. I will ship (within the US) via the USPS with delivery confirmation. First Class Mail is $4.00 for the first item, and $0.25 for each additional item included in the same shipment. Insurance is always included in the shipping cost. I value my pieces as one of a kind and cannot be held responsible for lost packages that are not insured, therefore, as a courtesy and a small fee, I automatically insure all packages that I send.

CT customers need to add 6.35% Sales Tax.

International shipping is tricky but available, please email me for a price quote prior to purchase. I generally ship in the same size packages, but need to have the post office price accordingly. Thanks for your patience!
