Hard Edges, Soft Spirit, Beautiful Objects

I received my BA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Illustration in 2009 in the beautiful city of Seattle, WA. Towards the end of my last year of undergrad, I became interested in opening up an Etsy shop. At first I experimented with focusing the shop on my illustration work but as I was working as an artist's assistant to a sculptor, I became more and more interested in creating my own sculptural art work.

In 2010, I decided to turn my self taught jewelry design hobby into a business and from there it blossomed. In the fall of 2010, I quit my day job and began focusing on jewelry design full time in addition to doing freelance Illustration and Graphic Design. I stay very very busy :) And this fall, 2012, I plan on focusing all of my energies solely on my jewelry brand and business, expanding to include new styles of accessories.

My dream is to create a bag line and a clothing line in the future, but for now I want to focus all of my energy on making my jewelry line the best it can be. In the years since 2010, I've taken a few metal smithing classes to hone my skills and to imagine even greater possibilities with what I can create.
