Below is some information to help you make your purchasing decision. Note that as an independent retailer, my shop policies are specific to this shop and will differ from those of other Etsy shop owners and other online shopping venues you've previously visited. If you disagree with these policies, please refrain from purchasing. Exceptions to these shop policies will not be made for failure to read product descriptions or return/refund policies, so please review the shop policies carefully before purchasing and feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Key return policies:
- Returns will only be accepted for items in original, unworn condition; no returns will be accepted on items that are damaged, altered or that show signs of heavy wear
- Please do not send items back without contacting me first; unauthorized or unexpected returns will be marked “Return to Sender”
- Contact me within 7 days of initial delivery of your item before making a return so that I can provide you with return instructions
- Be sure to follow the return instructions when shipping your return
- Ship your return back within 10 days of initial delivery (item must be postmarked no later than 10 days from the delivery date shown by USPS tracking data)
- Shipping fees are nonrefundable and the buyer is responsible for return shipping
- Returns on “Made to order items” (which includes all band rings and wedding rings) will incur a 15% restocking fee
- Any returns shipped back later than 10 days after initial delivery will incur a 30% restocking fee
- Returns on earrings will incur a 10-30% restocking fee (see below for details)
- Custom orders are not returnable
- Exchanges are only accepted for like items (such as a ring in the same style but different size)

-General Return Policy-
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can discuss your concerns and so that I can provide you with return instructions if you do decide to make a return. Not all items are returnable, but for those that are, the item must be returned within 10 days of initial delivery of the item (as shown by the USPS tracking information). Any return postmarked later than 10 days after initial delivery will incur a 30% restocking fee. The item must be returned in original, unworn condition in the original gift box packaged in a padded mailer or small shipping box sent via insured mail at your expense. When packaging your item in the gift box, please use the slots provided in the foam insert to secure the item for shipping. Returns on items that have been damaged or altered in any way will not be accepted. Refunds (not including shipping fees) will be issued via the original method of payment through PayPal or Etsy checkout and you will receive notification once your return is processed. Returns will be processed within 1-2 business days of receipt of the item, so please refrain from sending any messages regarding your refund unless you haven't received notification within 2 business days of delivery. At this time, exchanges can only be made for replacement of the same item (for example, a ring in a different size). Do not send items back without first contacting me; any items shipped back without prior notification will be returned to the sender. If a returned item is shipped to an incorrect address and is not received, or is damaged during shipping and is not insured, no refund will be issued.

-Earring Returns-
For reasons concerning hygiene, refunds on earring returns will be reduced by a restocking fee in the amount of the earring findings whether or not the earrings have been tried on or worn. For earrings with plain ear wires or lever back wires, the fee is $5 for sterling silver earrings, $25 for 14k gold earrings and $40 for 18k gold earrings. Returns on stud earrings or stud earring backs will incur a 30% restocking fee as these will not be reused for reasons of hygiene.

-Made to Order Items-
Returns on made to order items (including band rings and gemstone rings) will be reduced by a 15% restocking fee. Returns on made to order earrings will be subject to a 15% restocking fee in addition to the cost of the earring findings.

-Custom Orders-
Custom orders are not eligible for returns. However, if you are unhappy with a custom purchase or feel there is a fault in quality or workmanship, please contact me so that we can agree upon a resolution.

-Lost or Damaged Items-
In the very rare event that your package is damaged or lost during delivery, a claim must be filed with the delivery company.
Payment
The preferred method of payment is in US dollars via Etsy direct checkout or PayPal. PayPal is a secure method of online payment and you can pay with your credit card without setting up a Paypal account. Payment can also be made with Etsy gift cards via direct checkout.

If you are interested in a certain item but would like to pay for it over a period of time, feel free to contact me about setting up a payment plan.
Shipping
-General Shipping Policy-
Your order will generally be sent to the address you specify within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday) of receipt of payment. Delivery of custom or made to order items will take longer and the estimated delivery dates are specified in the item descriptions and will be listed on your Etsy invoice, so please be sure to review these when you place your order. Every jewelry item will be sent in a padded gift box. All orders will be safely and securely packaged in a shipping envelope or box. Multiple items in an order will be sent together. Packages will be shipped via insured USPS mail at the following approximate rates and may change as a result of USPS rate changes:

$6.00 for items less than $50
$6.50 for items $51-100
$7.50 for items $101-$200
$8.50 for items $201-$300
$9.50 for items $301-$400
$11.00 for items $401-500
$16.00 for items $501-$1000 (signature service included)
$20.00 for items over $1000 (signature service included)

Contact me for other methods of shipping, international orders or if you have any special shipping requests. Please contact me for special shipping requests (upgraded service, signature service, etc.) prior to placing your order as additional fees may apply or it may not be possible to accommodate some requests after purchase.

-International Shipping-
If you would like to have an item shipped outside of the United States, feel free to contact me for a shipping quote. Shipping rates and times will vary from country to country, as will import regulations, taxes and duties. Many countries will charge additional fees on imports from the United States and you will be responsible for paying those fees in order to receive the package. No refunds will be issued for items that are returned to me as a result of refusal to pay customs fees, duties or taxes, so please be aware of any such additional charges and regulations in your country prior to requesting that an item be shipped internationally.
Additional policies and FAQs
-Cancellation Policy-
If you've placed an order and change your mind, please be sure to submit your cancellation request via Etsy convo as soon as possible. If the order is for a made to order item and it has already been fabricated prior to your cancellation request, your refund will be reduced by a 15% restocking fee. If your order has already been shipped prior to receiving your cancellation request, you can return the item at your own expense and all return/refund policies and restocking fees will apply. When submitting your cancellation request, please refrain from submitting multiple messages/requests; unless you haven't received a response within 24 hours, one message should suffice.

-Sale/Discount Policy-
Unless otherwise specified, custom or made to order items available for sale in this shop are not eligible for discounts (other than free shipping) with coupon codes. These restrictions will be clearly stated along with the coupon code in the shop announcement and no exceptions will be made for failure to read or comply with the restrictions. I ask that buyers read the discount guidelines described in the shop announcement and use their judgement when placing orders with coupon codes. In the case that a coupon code is applied to a made to order or custom purchase, the order will be cancelled/refunded and the buyer will be notified and given the option to resubmit the order.

-Sizing-
If you've purchased a piece of jewelry from my shop and find that the fit isn't quite right, I'll be happy to adjust the size for you if possible. Other than the cost of shipping the item both ways, the first resizing of a piece of jewelry purchased in my shop is free of charge as long as your resizing request is submitted within 30 days of purchase, so please contact me before resorting to taking the piece to a local jeweler. I understand that having to ship a piece of jewelry for sizing and then waiting for it to be returned can be inconvenient, but please note that once a piece of jewelry has been taken to another jeweler for service, I can no longer guarantee the workmanship or quality of the piece. As a result, any future service or repairs may be subject to additional fees.

-Measuring Your Ring Size-
Unfortunately, not all ring size measuring devices are calibrated to the same standard. Therefore, if you measure your ring size using a paper gauge or have your ring size measured at your local jeweler’s counter, the size might not match with the sizing I use in my shop. If you choose to have your ring size measured in person at a jewelry store prior to purchasing from my shop, I strongly suggest that you have your finger sized at more than one jewelry store just to be sure. It is also a good idea to request the inside ring diameter in millimeters in addition to the numeric size as this is the best way to ensure that sizing is consistent. You can also purchase a plastic belt style ring sizer before placing your ring order to make sure that your ring size is right the first time:

-Ring Sizing-
If you’ve purchased a ring from my shop and find that the size isn’t quite right, I’ll be happy to resize it for you at no additional cost (other than the cost of shipping both ways) for the first resizing, as long as you submit your resizing request within 30 days of purchase. Any resizing request received after 30 days of purchase and any other subsequent resizing will be subject to a modest fee to cover the cost of the resizing and return shipping.

-Repairs-
Everyday wear and tear can eventually take a toll on your jewelry. When it does, I will be happy to fix pieces that you've purchased from this store if possible, so feel free to contact me for repair inquiries. Again, if a piece of jewelry purchased in my shop has been taken elsewhere for service, I can no longer guarantee the workmanship or quality of the piece, so please contact me before taking it to a local jeweler.

-Caring for Your Jewelry-
In general, you can clean your jewelry with warm water and mild soap, followed by a rinse with distilled water. A soft bristled toothbrush can be used to gently clean small detailed areas if needed. I don't recommend ultrasonic or chemical cleaners for pieces with gemstones as these types of cleaners can damage gems. Pearl jewelry should only be cleaned by gently wiping with a damp cloth and care should be taken to make sure that no chemical substances (lotions, fragrances, hairspray, etc.) come in contact with pearls.

All items available for sale in this shop are made of gold or silver, which are both fairly malleable precious metals. As such, you may notice a change in the finish of your jewelry with regular wear; over time, polished pieces will become dull and satin/matte finished pieces will become shinier. In either case, an occasional polishing or refinishing may be required to maintain the look of your jewelry.

-Metal Tarnish-
All the silver items currently offered in this shop are sterling silver and will tarnish (form gray or black stains from oxidation) over time. And although gold is much more tarnish resistant than silver, it can also form tarnish in certain conditions. For this reason, it is recommended that jewelry not be worn in swimming pools, hot tubs, hot springs or in other conditions where exposure to chemicals for prolonged periods of time is likely. Fortunately, tarnish can usually be easily removed by polishing with a polishing cloth or soaking in a tarnish remover. Upon request, items can be sent with a polishing square that quickly and easily removes tarnish. For jewelry items that do not contain gemstones, tarnish can also be removed using tarnish removers available in the cleaning aisle of most stores that carry household goods. Please be sure to use such products according to the manufacturer's instructions and check to see if the products are compatible with gemstones before using them on items containing gemstones.

-Sending a Gift?-
