5 out of 5 starsWas worried the small poms wouldn't be big enough, but I would say they are decidedly not small! Would be in love with them even if they didn't attract a lot of attention - which they did.

5 out of 5 starsJohanna knit a custom capelet for me to wear over my wedding dress for outdoor pictures. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she was able to make exactly what I had asked for. It was ready right on time, workmanship was beautiful and Johanna went out of her way to help find wool that would work for this project. Thank you so so very much Johanna!

Unable to resist the urge to create
It's more than just an obsession, its an uncontrollable urge to create.
I learned every craft I came across from an early age. Learned what I could from my mother and sister and everything else I just figured out on my own (and in the days before you tube!) Sewing, knitting, plastic canvas, rug hooking, beading, I created with yarn, paper and toilet paper tubes, legg eggs and hot glue guns. There was nothing I didn't want to try at least once I spent hours as a child in Lewis Craft and White Rose crafting stores finding new ways to create.
And while the crafting fads of the 80's and 90's have thankfully fallen to the wayside the passion to create has never lessened. One of first crafts I was taught has been the thing that has stuck through the years with me. My mother taught me how to knit and after making misshapened scarves for all my cabbage patch kids (and everyone elses too) I was forever in love. Since then I have rounded myself out with crochet and weaving. And since I love yarn so much it only makes sense that I would know how to make it. There is a profound respect for a garment or accessory that comes when you have a glimpse into the entire process that goes into making it. I love the process, I love the freedom to create that comes from not just knowing a craft but knowing it so well that there are no bounds to what can be created. A lifetime of love and experience has taught me how to do what I do well. And I invite you to come into my shop, join me on facebook and instagram, and see what that looks like.
I don't want to just make you a scarf, I want to make you a scarf that is a beautiful, unique, but also well made.

Owner, Creator, Photographer
I've always had a deep desire to create, be resourceful, lessen waste, and push boundaries. I pushed my own boundaries, expanded my world and my art. I roamed from Ontario to the prairies; gained a tribe of my own and settle, so far, in Manitoba.
