Unable to resist the urge to create

It's more than just an obsession, its an uncontrollable urge to create.
I learned every craft I came across from an early age. Learned what I could from my mother and sister and everything else I just figured out on my own (and in the days before you tube!) Sewing, knitting, plastic canvas, rug hooking, beading, I created with yarn, paper and toilet paper tubes, legg eggs and hot glue guns. There was nothing I didn't want to try at least once I spent hours as a child in Lewis Craft and White Rose crafting stores finding new ways to create.
And while the crafting fads of the 80's and 90's have thankfully fallen to the wayside the passion to create has never lessened. One of first crafts I was taught has been the thing that has stuck through the years with me. My mother taught me how to knit and after making misshapened scarves for all my cabbage patch kids (and everyone elses too) I was forever in love. Since then I have rounded myself out with crochet and weaving. And since I love yarn so much it only makes sense that I would know how to make it. There is a profound respect for a garment or accessory that comes when you have a glimpse into the entire process that goes into making it. I love the process, I love the freedom to create that comes from not just knowing a craft but knowing it so well that there are no bounds to what can be created. A lifetime of love and experience has taught me how to do what I do well. And I invite you to come into my shop, join me on facebook and instagram, and see what that looks like.
I don't want to just make you a scarf, I want to make you a scarf that is a beautiful, unique, but also well made.

Returns and exchanges
If there is damage or problem with an item I do want to hear about it. Refunds on products will be handled on a case by case basis.

I do my best to describe items thoroughly, including the size, colour and measurements. I cannot refund for size or colour issues. In some cases exchanges can be made. Ask about sizing, colour and for more pictures if you are uncertain about an item before purchase.

If a package does not arrive by the expected delivery date due to weather, postal service or customs delays I am very sorry but I don't do refunds because it arrives after the party or special date. Please order with enough time to allow for a package to arrive a week before the date needed.

Please be sure you read the description fully before purchasing.

All items that are ready to ship will be shipped within 3-5 business days after receipt of payment. All items are sent through Canada Post. I try to be accurate with shipping costs, but if the actual shipping cost is less than the quoted cost, particularly for multiple items, I can refund any difference greater than $2.50 to you. (Keep in mind the exchange rate if you see a slight difference when your package arrives.)

Local purchases from customers in Manitoba can be picked-up from Winnipeg. Contact me before you purchase and let me know that pick-up is what you want and I will take the shipping charge off your desired purchase.
