Absolutely gorgeous raku shard, looks like this decor was already complete..but believe me, the raku finishes this pot beautifully. Really stunning piece.

I love this little Raku pot, its exactly what I was looking for! It is really beautiful, the colors are lovely! Shipping time was satisfactory and the pot was really, really well packaged so as to not break on its journey. Thank you!

Raku firing has been a passion/specialization of mine for more than 15 years. It has its roots in Japan and is closely associated with their tea ceremony. Metallic glazes are a Western application to the basic process of removing a ceramic piece from firing when it is red hot. The pieces are handled individually and each one has its own unique coloration.
Each of my pieces are hand formed and I formulate and mix my own glazes. Firing days are like Christmas Morning....full of surprises (yes, even to me!). The process is full of serendipity and a big portion of my love for Raku is the one of a kind nature of each and every piece.
