5 out of 5 starsThis has by far been my favorite cup to drink tea out of. It’s cute and dainty and very high quality. A bit smaller than I had initially thought, but it’s perfect.

5 out of 5 starsThere was a problem with shipping, but the artist kept me in the loop and got things figured out as soon as she could. The mug I got is beautiful and I can’t wait to give it as a gift. I actually bought two one as a gift and one for myself!

5 out of 5 starsi love this mug! i use it again as soon as it's out of the dishwasher. it has a small handle which might bother some people with larger fingers- i personally love it and the look! its more like a double espresso type of size rather than a 7 ounce nespresso!

4 out of 5 starsSuper cute mug in terms of shape and design. Only issue is that snow edge posted appears nice and white. The mug received seems old and has yellowed. Maybe it’s part of the design but doesn’t seem “clean” and pristine condition as hoped for.
Gözde responded on Dec 9, 2024
Dear Diana, I’m sorry to hear about this, but I’m glad you shared your thoughts openly. As you mentioned, the edges are slightly yellow. This is a natural effect caused by the interaction of the glazes we use and is entirely part of the design. There were two similar products listed in the same listing. This one is more old-fashioned in terms of handle, size, and colors. I hope there wasn’t any mistake in the selection. As you noted many of our other products are far from modern designs, and we strive to keep each new piece somewhat minimalist and old-fashioned, just like our production process. Please feel free to contact us in any situation. Thank you sincerely for your feedback.

5 out of 5 starsThis is the second mug I've bought from this shop, and both are so beautifully crafted and nice to use. The shipping, despite being international, was also quick. Just note, they are not large mugs - the listing clearly says oz - but they're the perfect size for a morning latte.

Frequently asked questions
How is your product made?
I produce all of the products in my own studio in Istanbul.
Each piece is individually handcrafted. Depending on the product, sometimes I use a pottery wheel, sometimes I use the freehand shaping method.
First, I shape the clay the desired shape on the pottery wheel. I let the clay rest and dry on the shelf for a while until it reaches the appropriate hardness. Then I put it back on the pottery wheel to smooth out the bottom and attach the handle if needed. After the shaping process, I leave it to dry on the shelf for a few days. Once I am sure it has completely dried, I perform the first firing at 1050 degrees. This is called biscuit firing.
The product coming out of the oven is sanded, sponged or washed according to the need. Then I
Is your product food safe?
All glazes that I use in my products are safe for food. All of the handmade ceramics are made using 100% lead free and food safe glazes.
If you are interested in ceramic production, be careful. Not every glaze is food safe!
The components used in the glaze mixture should be carefully selected, and if a ready-made glaze is used, it must be confirmed from the manufacturer.
Custom and personalized orders
You can wash the products in the dishwasher and use them in the microwave. The stoneware clays used in the products and the glazes that mature at 1250 degrees are durable and longevity. Of course, it's beneficial to pay attention to certain issues in long-term use. The acidity of the detergent you use in your washing machine and the hardness of the sponge for hand washing can cause wear and tear on the product surface. Therefore, using natural detergents and medium-hard sponges is beneficial.
The ceramic pieces are very capable of handling hot & cold temperatures, but when a piece is taken from one extreme to another quickly, it can cause it to crack or break. It's best not to use them in the oven or expose them to an open flame.
How about price policy?
My products are handmade and they are very valuable to me. I put a lot of effort into making them and the process takes time. To ensure uniqueness and high quality, I carefully work on these products. That is why my handmade products may be more expensive than mass-produced ones. However, the quality and uniqueness of these products is also higher. Because i consider them valuable, i hope you will find them valuable as well. I will continue to make the best products for you.
