Why has your shop changed to digital downloads?
We are always looking for ways to make our photography more accessible to you, the customer. Digital downloads are more cost efficient, since you don't need to pay shipping fees. They are also faster as you receive your file upon payment. Digital files also allow you to add your own creative ideas when using them in multimedia or other craft projects.
Where can I print my photos?
Photos can be printed in any professional lab, or on your home printer. Quality of the prints will of course depend on many factors, so it is recommended you have test prints done prior to creating or ordering any enlargements.
What if I change my mind after I make a purchase?
If you have ordered a printed photo and it has not been printed or mailed yet, changes may be made. In this case, please message the seller as soon as possible. If it is a digital download, refunds and exchanges cannot be made as the file will already have been received by the customer.
What can I do with my digital download?
Digital files are for your personal use. Please print them as many times as you like for your home, office, or to give to friends and family as gifts. Please do not share the digital files as this would go against the agreement made when the listing was purchased. This protects the photographer's copyright.
Why buy the file when I can copy and paste?
The photographs you see in the listings are a resolution of 800x533, an image size of 1.2M. Printing, or even copying, a photo of this size will result in a grainy, low quality image. When you purchase the digital download, most files (please see image size in individual listings) in this shop are 5184x3456, or 51.3M. This means you get a high quality, crisp photo at a very low price that you can confidently enlarge and print for your home.
Images are everywhere on the web. Most, however, are copyright images, which means that copying and pasting without permission is illegal. The same applies for this and other shops on Etsy; doing so is essentially stealing from the artist. Please support artists by choosing to purchase instead.
