Ik opende eerst de Etsy-winkel om te proberen geld in te zamelen voor onze adoptie. Ik hou van creëren. Speelgoed is mijn favoriet!

Ik woon in het charmante stadje Denton TX.

Mijn werkruimte is een mooie kast bovenaan de trap met een raam met uitzicht op de achtertuin. Het is klein, maar functioneel.

Ik kies stof waar ik van hou of die een personage tot leven laat komen. Ik kan ook stof kiezen op basis van de textuur, schoonheid, de manier waarop het een vorm vasthoudt of gewoon de kleur. Ik vind het ook leuk om lint of trim toe te voegen aan mijn creaties. Ik denk na over wat een unieke touch in stijl en textuur zal brengen.

Via Sibling Tree leef ik de vreugde van het creëren uit. Sibling Tree brengt uniek speelgoed en goederen in de wereld van spel en plezier. Mijn doel is om via deze personages het leven en de verbeelding van anderen binnen te gaan (en hopelijk een beetje vreugde en schoonheid te brengen). Het is een van mijn grootste vreugden om kinderen met mijn creaties te zien spelen!

Ik ben het meest geïnspireerd door de verbeelding en speeltijd van mijn lieve, vijfjarige meisje. Bij ons thuis zijn we constant in het midden van het spel. Als ik dagdroom over wat ik nu moet maken, denk ik na over hoe het zou kunnen inspireren en bijdragen aan onze prachtige wereld van make believe.

I first opened the Etsy shop to try to help raise money for our adoption. I love creating. Toys are my favorite!

I live in the charming town of Denton TX.

My workspace is a lovely closet at the top of the stairs with a window overlooking the backyard. Its tiny, but functional.

I choose fabric that I love or that will make a character come to life. I might also choose fabric based on its texture, beauty, the way it holds a shape or simply its color. I also like to add ribbon or trim to my creations. I think about what will bring a unique touch in style and texture.

Through Sibling Tree, I live out the joy of creating. Sibling Tree brings one of a kind toys and goods into the world of play and pleasure. My goal is to enter into the life and imagination of others through these characters (and hopefully bring a bit of joy and beauty). It is one of my greatest joys to see children playing with my creations!

I am most inspired by the imagination and playtime of my sweet, five-year-old girl. At our house we are constantly in the midst of play. When I daydream of what to make next, I think about how it might inspire and contribute to our beautiful world of make believe.
