5 out of 5 starsThis is a good pattern. I am now quilting the layers and I think it’s going to be a gorgeous quilt for my 12 year old grandson. He wanted it done in greens - and it looks very sharp. Below is a photo of the quilt top.

5 out of 5 starsLove this! Made it in an evening and fussy cut a fire helmet for my firefighter husband in the center square. Pattern is easy to read & follow.

4 out of 5 starsThe fabric requirement listed for the black was sufficient for the front border and back - but the directions were unclear about needing extra for inside the diamonds. Therefore, I had to return to purchase more and couldn't match exactly, etc. I love the pattern, though. Went together well.

SLOstudio: art + quilts
Thank you for visiting. I’m Stacey and I sew, paint and quilt in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Quilt-making speaks to both my artistic and analytical sides. I love getting caught up in planning for the structure, colour and geometry of quilts - and a finished quilt is like having a canvas that I can wrap myself in! I love the tradition of quilting, and although I don’t come from a family of quilters myself, it feels gratifying to participate in an activity that has transcended time and generations.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or feedback about my shop or my work. If you would like to see more of my work or are interested in my process, please see my blog at: slostudio.ca.
