Heart3Design is my passion project and is based in Waterloo, Ontario. After leaving my PhD, I reevaluated how I wanted to live my life and found a passion in growing succulents. I’ve been growing succulents since 2017 and my partner is crazy about orchids. We’ve been slowly but surely building up our plant heaven in our lovely home.

We started making our concrete planters since 2018 in an extra bedroom and balcony we happened to have at our old apartment. We've since moved, but I still have a strong desire to create functional art pieces that would bring a unique, modern, and edgy look to house our plant babies. These planters come in a range of styles and colours and are perfect for housewarming, birthday, Mother's or Father's day, thank you gifts or just a treat for yourself (and your plant).

If you have a nice little succulent, then I think it'll look awesome with one of our Bulbasaur or Oddish planter. My favorite planter for all my math nerd lovers would be the Compound of Three Cubes planter.

This year, 2021, I’ve also started experimenting with fiber and began making macramé plant holders. With the pandemic, I added pops of happy bright colours to the hanging plant holders to brighten up your day!

I can thank the University of Youtube and Dr. Google on teaching me how to make the concrete pots and macramé. I've spent a shameless number of hours learning online to pull different methods and techniques that I've ultimately used in the final products.
