About villagecraftco
Hello!
A little about us, we are Jon and Kayla. Husband and wife, the duo behind Village Craft Co.
We specialize in hand crafted decor combining both wood and steel. A “less is more” approach to home accents. Our work is inspired by simple beauty, with a focus on functionality. Beautiful decor with a purpose.
Jon is a red seal journeyman welder, with a background in finishing carpentry. Kayla is a design graduate and draftsperson, also with a background in construction.
We collaborate on every one of our pieces, from design to fabrication. We’re a team in life and in the shop. All pieces are handcrafted in house from raw material. Each piece is made to order. Quality and attention to detail is everything to this little shop!

Frequently asked questions
Care Instructions
All of our shelving is polyurethane sealed to resist staining and moisture. We recommend mild cleaning products or wood specific conditioning treatments to maintain your shelf.
Be kind to your frame, although all of our frames are enamel/powder coated. They will scratch or chip if dropped or mishandled. Handle with care!
Wall Mounting
All of our designs have hidden, built in mounting brackets for wall hanging. Slotted/keyhole style brackets. Hanging your shelf is as simple as it gets! Wall anchors & plugs are included with purchase. Achieving a “floating” look.
No assembly/disassembly required for any of our products! Everything ships fully assembled, wall ready!
Custom Design
Have a design in mind? Send us a message! We would be happy to work with you to create the perfect piece.
Custom design work is only available when our schedule permits. We’ll do our very best to accommodate you. When order volumes peak, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate customizations. But feel free to get in touch!
When will my order be ready?
All of our pieces for the exception of ready to ship items are made to order. Expect up to 3 weeks before your order ships. Production times vary based on how many open orders we have on the go. 3 weeks is our standard time. 3-4 weeks when order volumes exceed standard allowances. This does not include transit time. See our shop announcement/header for up to date production times and details.
Quality is everything to us. If there’s any reason your order is delayed beyond the above time frame. We will always let you know in advance. Please keep in mind we are a husband + wife team, all orders are handcrafted. We do our very best to get orders out as quickly as we can without compromising the final product.

Custom and personalised orders
Weight capacity will vary based on the item and quality of installation. All of our designs have hidden built in mounting brackets. Were happy to provide our own tested weight allowances - feel free to ask! We provide all required hardware for your install with purchase - with utility in mind. We do our best to maximize capacity. If you require specialty hardware (concrete, etc) let us know!
Wholesale + Retail
