One out of a series of twenty "retro" inspired prints made on Giclée technic printed on fine-art-Hahnemühle papier. Size 22.00 x 29.40 cm. It is available with or without white lacquer birch wood frame.

This prints are part of a series of drawings inspired on a diary. This diary was written by a young woman escaping war during the year of 1939. It is a very honest, impartial and moving document.

While researching for this work I rediscovered the photography of that period and some of its great masters. They also helped me to find "the feeling", "the hue" and the "visual language" to tell this striking story. Hopefully I was able to catch the atmosphere prevailing during those days with all its thrill, tragedy but also solidarity and hope.
