This technique, in English, will allow you to use all the colors of the rainbow. Thoroughly mixed, all the colors create a cheerful and dynamic combination.
If you want to the colorful punch to its maximum, you should avoid beige, gray and very pale fabrics.
For the quilt, you'll need two kinds of fabrics, which will be cut into stripes of several widths:
- Plain fabrics, at least 25
- Striped fabrics, at least 10
- Beating
- Fabric for the back
It's hard to give an exact amount of fabric, as it will depend on the surface of the quilt you plan to make, and on the width of the stripes you'll cut.
You can stop making blocks as soon as you've reached your favorite size.
Ideal for using remnants or to go treasure hunting in the quilt friends's fabric drawers!
