Disclosure: The nature of the source material being sheet metal, there will be some sharp edges along cut lines. Every effort is made to soften these edges prior to shipping, as a precaution please wear gloves when handling this product. During your first fire the original exterior paint and interior food grade coatings and any residual oils will burn off, therefore just as a precaution break in your Amicus in a open area until this off gassing is complete. Afterwards, the application of high temperature paint is recommended to prevent rusting to extend the life of your fire pit. Thank you.
