MADE FOR YOU AT THE HATTON GARDEN ATELIER

Every ring starts as a CAD design, tuned to your finger size and your choice of stone. We share renders for your approval. Once you're happy, a wax or silver sample is posted to you so you can try the shape on at home before we commit to the final piece.

When the sample is signed off, we cast the ring with our specialist Hatton Garden casting partner. Setting, polishing, and engraving all happen in-house at our atelier bench. The finished piece travels to the London Assay Office for hallmarking — the same office that's been guaranteeing British fine jewellery since 1300.

CUSTOMISE THE STONES
Priced with round lab-grown rubies in continuous shared-claw pavé as standard (~1.2 tcw total). As every ring is bespoke:
- Adjust total carat weight (1 tcw - 1.5 tcw is typical for eternity)
- Swap stones — sapphire (any colour), ruby, emerald, lab or natural diamond, fancy coloured diamond
- Mix stones — alternating colours or a graduated palette
- Adjust grade

ABOUT THE GEMSTONE

Coloured stones are graded differently from diamonds. Colour saturation and tone matter more than absolute hardness, though hardness still counts: sapphires (Mohs 9) and emeralds (Mohs 7.5–8) are both excellent for ring wear with normal care. Our gemstones are sourced through certified channels and carry a certificate of authenticity.

You can choose natural or lab-grown:

- Natural sapphire — teal, peach, royal blue, pink, yellow, and more. Origin documented where possible. Premium pricing reflects rarity.
- Lab-grown sapphire and emerald — chemically identical to mined stones, ethically produced, around 50% the cost.
- Specific origins available on request: Sri Lankan or Madagascan sapphire, Colombian emerald, Mozambique ruby.

Every gemstone is hand-selected at the atelier. If a specific saturation or tone matters to you, message us before you order — we'll show you what's currently available in your shape and budget before production starts.

RETURNS AND ALTERATIONS

Every ring is made to your size and your specification, so returns are by exception. Message us before you order if anything is unclear — we reply within working hours during the UK day, and by the following morning otherwise.

If the fit isn't quite right when your ring arrives, we'll resize it for free (on half-eternity styles). If you change your mind on the aesthetic, talk to us; we'll work out how to rework it.

Ready-to-Ship pieces, where listed, are returnable within 14 days if unworn.

CARE

Soft brush, warm soapy water, soft cloth. Keep the ring away from impact on prong settings, and take it off for lotions, chlorinated water, and the gym. Bring it back to us once a year for a complimentary check and polish at the Hatton Garden atelier — we'll tighten any prongs that need it, re-polish, and re-rhodium (white gold) and re-finish as needed.

Every stone is hand-selected. Every natural diamond is Kimberley Process certified and conflict-free. Every piece is hallmarked at the London Assay Office — the world's senior hallmarking authority, established 1300.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

How long does an eternity band take?
Seven to 14 UK working days from approval. We share CAD renders within two to three working days of your order; the wax or silver sample follows.

What's the difference between half-eternity and full-eternity?
Half-eternity sets stones across the front of the band — typically the front 180° — with a plain back. Full-eternity sets stones all the way around. Half is resizable for life; full is made to final size and cannot be resized once made.

Can I stack the eternity ring with my engagement ring?
Yes — that's how most are worn. Send us a photo of your engagement ring and we'll match the contour where needed.

Can I swap stones?
Yes. The listed price assumes the default stone spec; we'll quote any swap (diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald, lab or natural, grade upgrades) before production starts.

How is the carat weight distributed?
Across the stone count, rather than concentrated in one large stone. For example, 1tcw across 30 stones gives a fine, continuous line. We can scale up to 1.5tcw or 2tcw for more presence, or down for a quieter band.

Why are full-eternity rings more expensive than half?
Stone count. A full-eternity ring uses roughly double the diamond carat weight of a half. The setting work is also more time-consuming.

Will the stones loosen over time?
Properly set stones in good condition shouldn't loosen. Bring the ring back once a year for a complimentary check at the atelier — we'll re-tighten any prongs, re-polish, and reset anything that's shifted.
