You’ll have to give it a go if you’re engaging in conversation with this big fella! Meet Harry the Humpback Whale. An excellent diver, but even more impressive are his leaps out of the water! He’s known to have a weakness for krill and is considered a very talented vocalist of the oceans. We absolutely love him!
(And no, our Harry doesn’t weigh 30 tons…)

Our Humpback Whale paperlamp consists of a papercraft kit for you to build the model. Either with friends or individually, enjoy bringing to life one more member at your home. Make sure to take a few hours to assemble your Humpback Whale paperlamp – best results always require some dedication!

PRODUCT DETAILS:
This paperlamp is a DIY papercraft kit, including a pre-cut paper model and a ceiling light fixture with an E27 light bulb socket and 1,0 meter long electrical cable. Also included is an assembly guide and an extra practice model.
The paperlamps are made with high quality 160g paper presenting good resistance and durability. A variety of colours is available, so take a look at our colour palette at the end of the slideshow. Please note that you may see the small assembly numbers when the paperlamp is lit, as we mostly use bright coloured paper.
In case you wish to receive a different cable length for your ceiling light fixture, get in touch with us.

Each OWL paperlamp kit contains a pre-cut paper model, an assembly guide and a practice model.
If you purchase a table lamp kit, it will include a light fixture with an E14 light bulb socket, electrical cord with switch and plug.
If you choose a ceiling lamp kit, it will include a ceiling light fixture with an E27 light bulb socket and 1,0 meter long electrical cable.
If you select a wall lamp kit, it will include a wall bracket light fixture with a longer cord, switch and plug.

Light bulbs are optional. Please note that you should only use LED light bulbs with an adequate fitting: E14 or E27. These are European standards that might not be available in your country (e.g. US, Canada and Japan).

You will spend a few hours assembling your paperlamp, so take time to do this in a relaxed way. Consider taking breaks between steps – there’s no need to rush.

Every model requires different assembly durations, depending on the complexity, size or number of pieces. However the assembly principles are the same for all paperlamps.

Have in mind that some people are more experienced with paper craft activities and/or other manual arts and crafts activities. If you like putting things together and building models, this might be the right challenge for you. A good amount of dedication and precision will also ensure you a good result.

We currently provide the following different plug types:
- EU plugs (type C) – commonly used in Europe, South America and Asia.
- UK plugs (type G) – mainly used in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
- EU to US plug adapters (type A) – mainly used in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan. Please note that these are plug converters, not actual US plugs.

Only use LED light bulbs and equivalent energy saving bulbs that do not generate heat.
For table lamps use E14 bulbs.
For pendant lamps (ceiling or wall installation) use E27 bulbs.
For the Koala wall lamp use an E14 bulb.

These are European standards that might not be available in your country (e.g. US, Canada, Japan). You can choose to include an adequate light bulb with your order.

We recommend 200 to 400 lumen intensity.
Light bulbs have different colour temperatures, we suggest 3000K (warm white) or 4000K (cool white).

Bulb dimensions:
For pendant Paperlamps and the Barn Owl Paperlamp: max. 4,5cm diameter and max. 8cm long
For all other table Paperlamps and the Koala wall lamp: max. 4,5cm diameter and max. 11cm long

I folded the manta and it was in the beginning hard. But after you get used it is very calming and relaxing. Important note get a good glue.

Didn’t have to use their customer service side but this was such a fun product! Took me roughly 5 hours from beginning to end. It looks amazing. Please just know you need to buy glue I got some on Amazon called Aleenes original tacky glue which was great. They sent a small practice item which was brilliant as I was so scared to mess it up. If I had places to put more I would for sure buy more
