Hello, my name is Lisa and I am the creator of HopTo kids apparel. I live and work in the beautiful beach side city of Santa Cruz, California. All of my best memories are of making things. I remember rifling through my mom’s fabrics, ribbons and paper or in my dad’s shop, picking through scraps of wood, hardware and old forgotten articles left in boxes up in the rafters… anything I could get my hands on to sew, glue, nail, paint, tinker with or take apart. Creating in some form or another was where I was at my happiest. This love continued through college where I earned my BFA in drawing, painting and printmaking, further adding to my toolbox of interests and skills, but there was always something missing in the work that hung from the wall. This was the beginning of HopTo.
