I have always loved to create and work with my hands and my imagination. My mother taught me to sew at a very young age and it has been one of my passions ever since. She originally started me with needle and thread. As I grew, she taught me to use the sewing machine. The older I got, the more I wanted to learn.
I taught myself how to hand embroider. With the help of a friend, I learned to knit and fell in love with the world of yarn and needles. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before I taught myself to crochet as well.
I basically love all things fiber arts but my interests don't end there. I enjoy taking photographs, writing, working with wood...the list goes on and on.
I have an earnest desire to try to make anything and everything at least once.
