Mein Shop entstand aus der einfachen Idee, Kinder und Menschen mit Behinderungen jeglicher Herkunft zu unterstützen, und zwar anhand meiner eigenen Kinder (außerdem wollte ich etwas, das auch schön anzusehen ist – was aber nicht heißen soll, dass diese einfachen Alphabetkarten wertlos wären, ganz im Gegenteil!). Ich habe derzeit einen 4- und einen 2-Jährigen, die wie kleine Schwämme aufsaugen, und dies ist der perfekte Zeitpunkt, um ihr Alphabet-Lernen wirklich zu vertiefen. Sie lernen nicht nur das englische Alphabet, sondern erkennen auch das Tier, die Handlung oder das Objekt, das der Buchstabe darstellt. Ich bin im Herzen eine Tierliebhaberin und Schriftstellerin, daher hoffe ich, dass Familien, die meine Arbeiten betrachten, das Gefühl erkennen, das ich versuche, in jeder Karte oder jedem Bild einzufangen. Denn es geht nicht nur ums Lernen, sondern auch darum, eine Geschichte zu erzählen.
Kurz nachdem ich unzählige Alphabetkarten erstellt hatte, begann ich, Bilder für Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Senioren zu gestalten. Etwas Einzigartiges und Schönes zum Ausdrucken und Aufhängen (weil ich glaube, dass wir schöne und bezahlbare Kunst an unseren Wänden haben können). In meinem Shop finden Sie meine Lieblingssachen – mein Lieblingstier, meine Heimat und alles, was ich schön finde. Auch wenn sie vielleicht nicht gerade trendy oder jedermanns Sache sind, bin ich es, und ich erschaffe gerne Bilder für mich selbst und für alle, die sich einen Raum voller Farbe und anregender Kunst wünschen.

My shop started with a simple idea of supporting children and those with disabilities of all different backgrounds, by way of my own children (Plus, I wanted something that I felt was beautiful to look at too - though not to say that those simple Alphabet Cards hold no value, quite the contrary!). I have a 4 and 2 year old currently that are little sponges and this is the perfect time to really hone in on their learning of the alphabet. Not only are they learning the English Alphabet, but also recognizing the animal, action, or object that the Alphabet letter is portraying. I am an animal enthusiast at heart and writer, so I hope that when families view my work that they recognize the feeling that I try to capture in each card or image. Because it's not just about learning, it's about telling a story too.
Not long after creating MANY MANY alphabet cards came an interest in creating images for the adults, the young people, and the elderly. Something unique and beautiful to print and put up on walls (because I believe we can have beautiful AND affordable art hung up on our walls). In my shop you can see my own favorite things - my favorite animal, where I grew up, and what I feel is beautiful. Though they may not be trendy or everyone's 'cup of tea' it's me, and I like to create images for myself and those who share a need for their space to be full of color and thought provoking art.
