Ich bin Melanie: Ehefrau, Mutter, Mee-maw und Schöpferin von Alma’s Aprons. Schürzen sind heute genauso praktisch wie früher. Dank des neuen Interesses an handgefertigten Produkten finden Sie bei uns eine große Auswahl an Schürzen für Ihren Geschmack. Ich lege Wert auf Sparsamkeit und Abfallvermeidung und verwende daher Upcycling-Materialien aus anderen wertvollen Projekten, wiederverwendete Gegenstände und sogar Stoffe mit sentimentalem Wert. Diese Schürzen können thematisch, farbenfroh oder ausgefallen sein. Mein Shop bietet auch Topflappen, Baumwollhandtücher und Servietten an, die waschbar, wiederverwendbar und langlebig sind. Die Baumwollstoffe werden beim Waschen weicher, und die Servietten sind sehr saugfähig und umweltfreundlich.
Inspiriert von meiner Tante Alma, die bei unserer gemeinsamen Arbeit stets Schürzen trug, fertige ich jede Schürze mit ihrem Erbe im Hinterkopf. Von meinem Zuhause in Cogan Station, Pennsylvania, aus fertige ich jede Schürze mit Sorgfalt und füge mindestens eine Tasche und ein Etikett hinzu, um zu kennzeichnen, dass es sich um eine Schürze von Alma handelt.

I’m Melanie: Wife, Mom, Mee-maw, and creator of Alma’s Aprons. Aprons are just as practical today as they were in the past. With a renewed interest in handcrafted goods, you’ll find a variety of aprons to suit your taste. I believe in being thrifty and avoiding waste, so I use upcycled materials from other cherished projects, repurposed items, and even fabrics with sentimental value. These aprons can be themed, colorful, or whimsical. My shop also offers potholders, cotton towels, and napkins that are washable, reusable, and durable. The cotton fabrics grow softer with washing, and the napkins are highly absorbent and eco-friendly.
Inspired by my Aunt Alma, who always wore aprons during our work together, I create each apron with her legacy in mind. From my home in Cogan Station, PA, I craft every apron with care and include at least one pocket and a tag to signify it’s an Alma’s Aprons.
