What started as a family project has now turned into a family business! Barndominium Design is a family-run business owned by me and my husband. Here's how it all began: In 2018, my husband and I were getting married, but wedding venues are extremely expensive in our area. My father-in-law always wanted a pole barn, and at the time, a barndominium was his solution to where we would have our wedding reception. Barndominiums were not as popular then as they are today. Finding a builder and other necessary information presented its own challenges, but as a family, we prevailed. The family barndominium was completed, and we hosted our wedding venue there. My husband, brother-in-law, and father-in-law work at the same bank, where they have put together one of the top barndominium loan programs in the country. Through their mortgage website and YouTube channel, the influx of questions and desire for information inspired them to create something that can help people. Thus, Barndominium Design came to be. Barndominium Design's goal is to help people get started on their builds, saving them time and money.
