CASAdria was born out of our love for Croatia, the Adriatic Sea and a small island that changed our view of life.
For us, Dugi Otok is much more than a travel destination. It's about slow mornings by the sea, small harbors, the scent of pine trees and wild herbs, boats gently rocking in the bay, long summer evenings, and those special moments when you simply don't want to be anywhere else.
There is a Croatian word that wonderfully describes this feeling:
**POMALO.**
Slow down. Take your time. Enjoy the moment.
This very feeling has become the heart of CASAdria.
Our designs are created from the places, colors and little moments we associate with life on the Adriatic: island days and sailing trips, a coffee overlooking the sea, olives on the table, hidden bays and sunsets that make you want to linger a little longer.
CASAdria combines these memories with a timeless, relaxed Mediterranean style. With our collections, we want to bring a little piece of this special Adriatic feeling into everyday life.
Some of our designs tell stories of places that are dear to us. Others represent a feeling, a memory, or simply a certain way of life.
And because everyone has their own personal favorite place and their own memories, we also create individual designs – inspired by your favorite Croatian island, your heart's place, a special trip or your very personal story.

For us, Dugi Otok is more than a destination. It is slow mornings by the sea, tiny harbors, the scent of pine and wild herbs, boats gently moving in the bay, long summer evenings and those moments when there is simply nowhere else you need to be.

CASAdria entstand aus unserer gemeinsamen Liebe zu Kroatien, zur Adria und zu einer kleinen Insel, die für uns zu einem ganz besonderen Ort geworden ist: Dugi Otok.
Wir sind Julia & Heike – und für uns ist Dugi Otok längst viel mehr als ein Reiseziel. Es sind langsame Morgen am Meer, kleine Häfen, der Duft von Pinien und wilden Kräutern, Kava mit Meerblick, versteckte Buchten, lange Sommerabende und diese Momente, in denen man einfach nirgendwo anders sein möchte.
Ein kroatisches Wort beschreibt dieses Lebensgefühl für uns perfekt:
**POMALO.**
Mach langsam. Lass dir Zeit. Genieße den Moment.
Genau dieses Gefühl steckt in unseren CASAdria Designs.
Unsere Motive sind inspiriert von Kroatien, seinen Inseln und all den kleinen Dingen, die wir mit dem Leben an der Adria verbinden: Meer, Sonne, Segeln, Kava, Oliven, Sardinen, kleine Häfen und ganz viel Inselfeeling.
Viele unserer Designs erhältst du als **digitale Downloads**. So entscheidest du selbst, was daraus wird – zum Beispiel ein Shirt, Hoodie, eine Tasche, ein Poster oder dein ganz persönliches Urlaubsstück. Ausgewählte Motive findest du außerdem als fertige Printprodukte in unserem Shop.
Und weil jeder seinen eigenen Herzensort hat, gestalten wir auch **personalisierte Designs** – inspiriert von deiner kroatischen Lieblingsinsel, einem besonderen Ort, einer Reise oder deiner persönlichen Erinnerung.

Doch hinter CASAdria steckt noch ein größerer Traum:
Auf Dugi Otok möchten wir einen kleinen **Ort der Gemeinschaft** entstehen lassen – einen Platz zum Ankommen, Abschalten und Genießen. Mit Raum für Ruhe, aber auch für Begegnungen, gemeinsame Abende, regionale Köstlichkeiten und Geschichten, die man miteinander teilt.
Und genau deshalb fließen **100 % der Erlöse aus unseren Verkäufen zurück in unser CASAdria-Projekt** und damit Schritt für Schritt in die Entstehung dieses Ortes.

Many of our designs are available as **digital downloads**, giving you the freedom to create your own favourite piece – from shirts and hoodies to bags, posters and more. Selected designs are also available as ready-made printed products.
We also create **personalized designs** inspired by your favourite Croatian island, special place, memorable journey or personal story.

But there is an even bigger dream behind CASAdria.
On Dugi Otok, we want to create our own little **place for community** – somewhere to arrive, slow down and enjoy life. A place with room for privacy, but also for meeting people, sharing local food, long evenings and stories.
That is why **100% of the proceeds from our sales go directly back into our CASAdria project**, helping us bring this place to life step by step.
