Cloth & Color est un peu une expérience pour Natalie, qui a toujours voulu posséder sa propre entreprise. Quand elle était jeune, Natalie et sa meilleure amie, Alene, avaient leur propre entreprise appelée « The Shut and Open Eye » où ils vendaient de tout, de « l’allumage parfumé » aux dessins et aux bâtons de pluie. Alene et Natalie ont économisé les sous qu’elles ont fait dépenser pour des friandises comme de la crème glacée et des bonbons. Maintenant, Natalie rêve d’une entreprise un peu plus grande.
La plupart des créations de Natalie commencent comme des cadeaux pour les amis et la famille, et elle espère que Cloth & Color lui permettra d’atteindre un marché plus large en les donnant à vos amis et à votre famille. Elle crée ses dessins, les envoie être imprimés chez Spoonflower en Caroline du Nord, puis les coud dans son appartement de Brooklyn. Elle espère qu’elle pourra ajouter un peu de joie à votre maison avec ses produits.
Cloth & Color is a bit of an experiment for Natalie, who always wanted to own her own business. When she was young, Natalie and her best friend, Alene, had their own company called "The Shut and Open Eye" where they sold everything from "scented kindling" to drawings and rain sticks. Alene and Natalie saved the pennies that they made to spend on treats like ice cream and candy. Now Natalie dreams of a slightly bigger business.
Most of Natalie's designs start out as gifts for friends and family, and she hopes that Cloth & Color will allow her to reach a broader market as you give them to your friends and family. She creates her designs, sends them off to be printed at Spoonflower in North Carolina, and then sews them up at her apartment in Brooklyn. She hopes that she can add a bit of cheer to your home with her products.
